Aside from the obvious (Lack of ROI), why do you think we haven't attracted serious investors, that aren't necessarily focussed on that and see it as a Hobby (Sheikhs etc. ) .
Forgetting the fact that the SPFL can't compete with the EPL, one would think that the attraction of European Football would interest them.

I have mentioned in the past regarding the potential for Investment from information I was party to in the City. Now that I have retired from mainstream business and only venture into London or 'up North' now and again I don't get so many shippers!
I have however consistently heard of potential investment from both the USA and from Asia, (and as John has mentioned, we have significant Investors from both these Areas already on our Board and I am aware of potential interest from other potential Investors in Southern USA. There has also been interest from a connection that lives in the UK but is of Middle Eastern Heritage although in my last conversation with them they did not feel that what they were considering would be sufficient in $ terms to make it of interest. He also wasn't interested in buying out existing shareholders which at the time he was interested was not an option.
I believe that Bennett's decision to become Full Time in the Chairman Role might see an inflow of Investment Funds.

The rumours are its Clements job if he wants it. He has till tomorrow to decide. Whether that's true or not no one knows. I don't know what there is to think about as he approached Rangers. Maybe the Saudi offer who knows.
The other rumour about Paul Mitchell as DOF would be some acquisition as he is a definite upgrade on Wilson.
No guarantees in how successful they would be should it come to fruition however personally this is as good as we could get. One things for sure whoever it is we need to be patient and get behind him and the team. Still loads to play for.
