Fans keep saying we don`t need two defensive midfielders in home games and when the manager agrees with this and goes more attacking they still moan. As for Cantwell, he`s the most creative player we have and must start in a game like this.

Sterling rested as he has played a lot of games recently and played very little prior to his recent run. It’s about managing the load to help prevent injuries.

Dessers is up there with Sandy Clark in terms of pace, ball control, link up play etc. But he also turns up, has a good attitude and deserves support. He has already scored some vital goals. However, this is the most important position for us to get right in this window in order to win the league. There are deficiencies throughout the squad but we really need a proven striker. I'm not convinced Silva is that man but he does have a point prove. I would be happy enough if we put all our eggs in one basket as we did with Jelavic some years ago.

Only thing I don’t like right now is this stupid playing out from back when two central defenders go wide of keeper not even the best teams in world can make that work easily. Twice we gave ball away edge of our own box and that's exactly what celtics confidence going the other day against us too.
Goldson needs to learn to stay back instead of stepping into forward areas he’s best when he hangs back and looks for long ball
We have a star in young mcausland so impressed with every decision this lad makes might not always work out but seems to instinctively make best attacking call just need to brush up his defensive side a bit
Glad to see yilmaz playing well me and mystar have taken a bit of stick for sticking up for him needs a run of games.

I'd hope we'd get a little more than £2m for him based on reputation alone, but it might be tough to get anyone to take him on where he'd want t go.
I think he's a bottom half championship player at best and I can't see him accept a move there at this point, with the last 16 in EL to play.

Roofe will be gone in June if not before so makes litle difference. It will be a big relief to see him gone, cost us a fortune and hardly ever fit to play. It's the start of a big clearout and the beginning of a new era.

Cantwell needed a rocket up his arse against them as tried to walk through the game, what I will say for him he does usually bounce back when he is getting criticised, big second half of the season is needed.

19 games in 4 losses and 1 draw, basically dropping points once every 4 games and if it wasn't for silly shirt pulls by a Hearts player and Aberdeen player in injury tine it would undoubtedly be more. Is this title winning form? It seems to me we are only still in this title race because hearts and kilmarnock beat celtic in recent weeks. What's your thoughts, are this group of players good enough to win a championship?

First of all it’s offside. If the linesman puts his flag up right away, all the discussions go away. A stupid rule. Second our front to middle is still lacking and improve that we will be a lot better. However it costs so the board need to back PC. Thirdly. Are you for real. PC has brought in one player on loan until May.
Shankland is a penalty box player which we need, fed up with this constant must be able to connect front to midfield that’s a so called 10 jobs or as we used to call it an attacking midfielder. On Sat we had Sterling and Lundstrum with Cantwell. None have the guile required. Shankland given those chances would have scored. Unless our aim is over the top football. We have become a club that’s more interested in Europe than domestic, a club that buys for sell on profit and potential rather than hitting the ground running.
Posters have been on here dismissing the league cup, the Scottish cup because it’s all about Europe. Our top priority is the league end of. 3 years of champions league money going to Celtic is a failure by the board.
