Got to my hat off too Stirling, Dowell and McCausland, if not for them we would of had a serious rebuild in our hands AGAIN, on any future old firm games especially at parkhead we should be sitting Stirling right on top of McGreoger, love Cantwell but trying to walk through these games ain't going to happen.

Really impressed By sterling. Dowell looks very tidy if clear of injury. McCausland a lot of potential.

I worry Cantwell is the new Kent.
End product flatters to deceive.
I would actually sell Cantwell in summer for a suitable price.
What do we think is the magic number for Cantwell as it stands?
For me it would be £8m
Realistically, though I would even consider £6/7m.

Got to agree with Sterling and McCausland. Sterling looks so comfortable in midfield, and young Ross, has taken to being a 1st team regular, like a duck to water. I'm still not sure about Dowell? ? ?.

I don’t think we would get anywhere near that just now for Cantwell.

Sterling and McCausland are examples of when you put your trust in youth.
Dowell I'm still not sure about - can he become a steady 8/ 10 every week? I'm not so sure.
Cantwell has plenty of talent. It's using it at the right time which is the issue. Against Killie he had the chance to run into space but tried the reverse pass and Killie then broke which resulted in the 1 on 1 save from Butland. If he does the simple stuff at the correct time he will be a huge asset to the time. It's no coincidence that Clement had another chat to him on the sidelines during a break in play. He is also picking up a hell of a lot of silly yellows.

agree re dowell rtr, not sure on dowell, but saying that similar to we ridvan we haven't seen him in a good few consecutive game, but definitely seen flashes to think there's something there.

Only going with Dowell of what I have seen in last few games and from Norwich fans who bigged him up, Stirling could become a top midfielder, if he progresses in this position and shows it in Europe we break our transfer record, might be getting carried away a bit but he has everything, McCausland is has established himself as first team pick and will only get better, he directness and his work rate is a joy to see.

So Cantwell not good enough, but you expect someone to offer 8m, would be lucky to get back what we paid.

Cantwell is overplaying, holding onto the ball too long and too often. Definitely got the ability but really needs to play the quick ball when it’s on.

Might be in the minority well I usually am but I would like to see Sterling at his natural full back position, granted he has done well filling in midfield, but we have been crying out at for a no nonsense athletic full back for long enough and he fits the bill.

Having said that chances are nil because Tav plays there, even though his strength is when he goes forward and set pieces.
Not having a go at Tav before the usual suspects pipe in.

Stevie you think cantwell isn’t good enough but want a ridiculous amount for him in 8 million ?.

Agreed MpH too many silly yellows for his mouth.

Said for months now Cantwell gives me same feeling Kent did, he's not a team player, talented, absolutely, but the pubs are full of talented football players, professional football players need to be something else, and i'm convinced, like Kent, there's real reasons he's in Scotland and not England, he's flawed and will often flatter to deceive, some people will be taken in by the stepovers and twisty turns, but what is he actually doing? i'm hoping clement can make him a team player.

I like all Sterling, Dowell and McCausalnd. All 3 have really taken their chance when we were down to the bare bones. Dowell is a great squad player who provides some balance on the left of midfield, Sterling can play a variety of positions and we now have genuine cover for Tav. It’s great to see an academy player at last make the break through and fingers crossed McCausland keep on developing.

Cantwell is a funny one. For me the big thing that endeared Cantwell to the rangers fans was his work rate. He ran and ran and ran. This season I’m not seeing that same desire. Undoubtedly a fine footballer so I wonder if he is carrying an injury, has some off the field issues, maybe hasn’t settled in Glasgow, etc.

We are never getting 8m for Cantwell! C'mon, that's just pure fantasy!

8 million for Cantwell would be an excellent return considering we got him for nothing.

Totally agree MRPH re Cantwell - he needs to eradicate the petulant bookings from his game or he will end up suspended when we could need him - Bet PC has had a word in his ear re that side of his game as if it continues he will be targeted each and every match.

You could be right on that one TT also. He is very inconsistent playing wise only thing that’s is consistent is him getting stupid yellow cards.

Ror u r correct especially when many on here said him and raskin would each go for 20 million.

Really like McCausland but needs to improve his final ball. Sterling very good but need better than Dowell imo.

baz, he isn't carrying an injury, he wouldn't be playing if he was, he ran and ran and ran fir simple reasons, , he likes running, and he was pleasing the crowd,

im nit saying fir one minute he isn't great with a ball, i'm saying we need a rangers team playing for the cause, not fancy twists now and then, and throwing himself to the floor is a real embarrassment, nobody should be condoning that, , i hope the manager has harsh words or let's him go back down south, we need a playmaker to open defences, not a showboating clown.
