Guys . liked the young Dundee midfielder McCowan who played against us . would like to see us sign 3 young scottish midfielders in the summer Barron. (Aberdeen ) Watson (Kilmarnock ) and McCowan.

We do need to get some promising Scottish talent in.
Worth taking a chance on one or two and see how they develop. Will have chances for games with our schedule but not be starters straight away.

None of the mentioned improve our starting 11. We need players as good as Hatate, ORiley and Macgregor. Lewis Ferguson is a one of and there won't be many of them around if any at all of that caliber.

We need a young midfield with legs to get up and down pitch for 90 mins, wither any of them are good enough possibly, the boy from Dundee has impressed me, always willing to carry the ball upfield and opens the game up, take that over sideway passing every day of the week.

Barton is the obvious 1 would cost £500k development fee and replace Ryan Jack who is out of contract.

Celtic managed to scout OReilley so there are players similar or better out there - just at that time our scouting was p*ss poor - hopefully new regime can find players of that ilk for reasonable fees?.

McCowan isn't that young - he's 27 this year. Granted he played well vs us and has had a good season but not one I would be considering over younger options like Miller, Watson or Barron from the league (in that order) . Having said that, 14 goal contributions from mostly central midfield is something we severely lack.

im dreading going into the season with or left backs being pass back Barasic or Ridvan, both hopeless, Ridvan cost £5 mill and looks a total waste of money . if we don't sign a left back shortly . it will come back to bite us big time lost a few goals between them in pre season .

I actually think Borna and Yilmaz are both more than good enough.

For me our current style of play (if we've even got one) exposes their weaknesses and deminishes their strengths.

Same goes for Tav on the right.

We need to play 3 centre mids against European sides and Celtic. N that’s not even a very good European side.
Mb needs to sacrifice an attacker against better sides.

I would not be against selling Borna, brining in a very good LB and keeping Yilmaz as cover, isf we don't with both we will suffer throughout the season, Tav and Sterling are ample for RB.

Ehl you need to explain to me why our style of play has any effect on ridvan bottling a tackle for the 1st goal and being skinned for the 2nd? the wee guy isn't good enough and if that had been barisic most people on here would be having a field day slaughtering him.

Yes our fullbacks are more suited to playing on the front foot. we give very little options for an out ball and very little protection to them either.

If Beale persists with Barasic and Sakala . i fear the worse, they have proven beyond doubt they simply aren"t good enough, Jurys still out on Ridvan as well, never a £5m player, don't think Beale rates him either by not starting matches, Very early days, but i hope he doesn't regret selling Colak!

I wouldn't have sold colak as i liked and rated him as a goalscorer but going by sakala's stats he's got good numbers and although i don't think he's a starter every week, i think he's a very useful squad player for me anyway ?.

I don't think Sakala can't be relied up to score when it matters and in games where we are not getting loads of chances, that's the issue with him he will get goals when he gets lots of chances like most competent footballers, we need players that can score with only a few chances in a game, that's what win you leagues and cups. I like Colak coops but according to reports he was not very robust however atm i'm very happy with the players in the front areas.

Nobody would score goals in that team that played last night, they don`t create any chances . Dessers hardly got a kick apart from the penalty he should have had in the 4th minute.
