In other transfer news, relating also to Rangers, Birmingham are considering making their loan for defender Ben Davies permanent. The former Preston North End man has impressed during the first half of the season, establishing himself as one of manager Chris Davies' preferred starting centre-backs.
Free's up some cash if it goes ahead.

Igamane has only played around 20 games in Europe, scored 10 in his last 11 games, he keeps on scoring in the Europa it's going to be hard to keep him but we should until at least next January (unless top fee), but we're definitely quids in on him, a gem that is going turn into an ace sws.

if a team from down south come in with an offer of £15-£20mil. it would be difficult for Rangers not to accept it.
End up not selling, holding on to him and he gets a bad injury (it is Rangers after all) or he simply falls off (it happens) and then he goes for nothing in 2-3 years.

10 million would be a mistake, the boy has everything in his locker and will keep improving, strikers can go for crazy money and if he shows it in Europe until end of season he will break the Scottish transfer record, he will have games where he is off it but they will become less and less through his progression, in an ideal world we have him till end of next season.

Could we maybe look at taking Davies back from Birmingham due to our injury problems, just to give them a wee nudge if they are wanting to make it permanent. If they wanted him to stay and were prepared to pay in this window that would help us finance getting someone else.

Fork, I'm using him as an example this happens to many young players, Igamane isn't going down that road in my opinion and am only going on what Clement is saying about him only looking to improve, look at the improvement in him from a few months ago, I just don't think going a run of games without getting a goal is falling off, obviously different opinions.

Igamane has been immense since getting a run of starts and has improved some, let's hope he keeps it up. That being said we have hung on to players too long before and if a top bid comes in then we have to sell him and re-invest in another talent. That is how we need to operate going forward.
Any player is capable of falling off Star as we have seen numerous times for us and since people have left, lot's of different reasons for this of course. Nobody has a crystal ball.

I agree and if we get offered decent money we should take it and try to have a large percentage built in. reinvest in a couple more from Koppen's list and develop them. speculate to accumulate. personally think he will be here next season and clubs will wait to see if he develops further and keeps his run going. big test for him is when everything doesn't go right and he stops scoring.

I can see Igamane going for silly money my guess is 20-40 mill.
1 more season of his current from and he is worth 20 mill minimum.
Could see Bayern Munich or the like coming in for a player with his raw talent and potential.
