Strange posts appearing on a regular basis, guys throwing hand grenades and trying hard to besmirch regular posters, this has led to people leaving our site and devaluation of the insight and info that these guys offer freely, at possible cost to their own positions.
We're are at the bottom of an upwards curve, thanks to investment from outsiders and from some in this forum, manager, not good enough, players/ transfers, constantly slated, this is going to take time, it will not be instant, there are revenue streams to be formed, new sponsorship to attain, stadia improvement to get, patience required, of course we all want millions thrown instantly, that is impossible and people need to adjust there inherent expectations of the timescale required.
I think it's sad, that some not many, look to try n act against those that offer insight to how we are trying to move forward.
The site would be poorer without that input.
To doubt someone's input and to question their background or input, to which is an anonymous and nameless site, where people offer small pieces of information is imo sad.
I feel this has been happening for a while now and if it continues it may extract a heavy toll on the knowledge these people bring, our site would be poorer if we lose that input, thankfully some have returned, but others haven't as of yet.
If u have doubts about credentials or info, scroll by as others value that input some look to discredit. It is after all a rumours site.

Fork in fairness some people aren't who they portray they are. Under the 49ers we are being run in a discretionary and professional manner. No director or any person involved with Rangers would be allowed on a Rangers forum. It is far too risky. To think otherwise is ludicrous.

Great post fork. 100% agree, the problem is like within ibrox and indeed in society, line 100 people up against a wall and you're going to get a fraction of those that can't see the bigger picture or that amuse themselves by trying to belittle others. I look on it as a 2 way street, whilst I agree they should just ignore things they don't agree with and d roll past it, maybe we should do the same. As hard as it is at times, they'd soon stop,

People will know that my opinion is that it is acceptable to challenge posts respectfully. However I can't get why anyone would want to question who someone claims to be. I like the insight those posters give and wouldn't want them to stop. If you don't think a poster is who they say they are then don't listen. the questioning of someone's authenticity isn't an acceptable post IMO. BTW I feel similarly to posters being challenged as a Celtic fan if their opinions don't sit well with others.

Excellent post Fork. Agree 100% with what you say. The moaning, complaining and finding fault in almost everything the club are doing is becoming tedious/ embarrassing to be honest.

People that have stopped posting need to ignore them as well as alloa made a good point. 2 way street.

So Copland Front 5, who has 1 post on his account, is basically saying EhL and Asathor have been lying every day on here for years. I know who I will chose to believe. i'm no mug but I have seen enough from a few of the regulars to trust what they say.

What frustrates me with the calling out some posts as BS is that people don't seems to understand the pace football running shifts at. John might get some info from his guys and the time he's shared it, the position moves. Or there is multiple angles for us to go at or people to sign. If we can all just realise that when we get some form of info that it came from a specific source at that point in time, doesn't mean they're lying.
Keep up the info regulars. It's appreciated more than you think.
For me the big shift is the info was leaking out the club and the new owners have made it very clear in their statement, we won't be sharing. Ie the £20m pot for example. We're all adjusting to a tighter run ship.

Sollo I agree and if it is posted as a rumour then that can always be the case. the ones which get me are the ones marked FACT. now I think those are fair game tbh and need to be challenged. also and just my opinion I think if it were me I'd be coming back on and holding my hands up to getting it wrong for those fact claims. rumours completely different as they are given at one moment in time and no need for anything. as I say just my opinion and there will be loads who disagree with it. Perhaps i'm just a little sensitive after the definite arrival of Gerrard to the club ?.

See if I'm really honest. I couldn't care less about anyone's position or possible position within the club, outwith the club, etc.
It's a RUMOUR site. Not a 100% factual information site. So even when someone says I've heard it's 100% done, or people within the club believe it or whatever it's still a rumour. The only time it becomes concrete is when the paperwork is complete and player has the scarf above their head.
Folk need to take a break and get back to enjoying the excitement of a window. How bloody boring would it be if everything was set in stone the second the rumours were uttered. There would be no shocks, no twists, no disappointment and no elation.
Rant done. Sorry for long winded message and I doubt this will change anyone's approach but to hell with it.

Good post, Fork. Asa is one of the best posters on here. Given the amount of great information he's provided on here, I've no reason not to believe he is who he says he is. If people don't like his posts, then they should just scroll past. I know I do that with certain posters.
