It seems like where getting worse every game Olympiacos finished 4th last season Beale had what nearly 10 month and we still don't have identity am sorry but he's no gerrard and this season already looking like a right off to me ano it's early days but a good teams a good team and where not that atall we create no chances its hurting telling the truth if you love and watch football like me where just not good enough at defending or creating chances and link up play it's like the players don't no what position there playing or what there doing it's a shambles sorry for a rant but just frustrated with us we can never seem to get back to the way it should be always something missing what I can't explain.

Jo. rfc he’s been in the job 8 months, immediately improved the side, made us competitive in the old firm fixtures again, made two signings in Raskin and Cantwell who are potentially two of the best signings we’ve had at the club for a while and for a combined fee of about £3M, we’re a few weeks into his first real chance to build his own squad, 2-3 players still to come in and you’re saying he’s no Gerrard? We all want it to click overnight but give the guy and his signings a chance to get in the door.

ffs it wasnt pretty but give them a chance. the majority of the team has changed so takes a while to settle plus we have at least another 2 coming in which will change the shape again.

We need more cover at centre half for me. Goldson, souttar and Davies were all injured at times last season and if it happens again I worry we don’t have enough cover.
The rest of the squad depends on who we can move out now.

Like it jo? although cantwell for Lundstrum, lammers in there. No reason why we won't play two up top, We have been for the run in and we were far better for it. MB has said that its a consideration.

We won't play the same formation home and away in my opinion at home lundstrum or raskin could slot back in to cover making a back 3 when under attack but when attacking push further up but away from home I could see a 3-4-3 formation or a
3-5-2
I wouldn't be opposed to

Sterling. goldson. Souttar.
Tav. Yilmaz.
Raskin. Cantwell.
Sima. Lammers.
Dressers.
Shape could be fluid for players dropping back into midfield or tucking in or pushing up depending on attack or defence.

I can actually see tav and yilmaz more of left and right midfielders this year, just can't see by us going 3 at the back but obviously that's just my opinion, I Don see tav being dropped and I feel Sterling has been brought in to play.

Defence needs strengthening,
Personally I would like to see Sterling at full back, by all accounts he’s a tough cookie that’s what we need.
Or maybe he starts as one of three centre half’s.
Like a previous post need another centre half, defending at times last year was like schoolboy stuff can’t go in with more or less the same back line.
In front of that if Cifuentes comes in and settles then him and Raskin in the engine room.

Fed up with the references back to older strips, can Castore not come up with something more modern. As for the colour we should be looking to go back to ROYAL blue which is our traditional colour. Look at the classic old V necks from the 60s they were royal blue, if Castore wanted to go retro, there's a classic for them to put a modern twist too, not pinstripes.

Dowell is a good player, he actually reminds me a bit of cantwell in his style of play, only seen him a handful of times mind you. If he ends up anything close to cantwell then we're onto a winner. Only thing negative is he's a couple of injuries during his time at Norwich.

I don't know how reliable transfermarkt is, but they register just one injury in Dowell's career, ankle surgery nearly three years ago.

I agree first half we where terrible to much gap between fowards and midfielders we look much better with pace in the team if we make the champions league this year it will be same as last years groups it’s hard to take and watch am afraid.
