Would be a huge call to make so early on, but would also definitely show the new owners are not going to accept mediocrity. If it happened the next man has to work, or we end up looking (even more of? ) a laughing stock. I'm for it personally, but whoever comes in needs to be better, and be able to work with what we have.

Let's hope so i didn't want Russell Martin like most fans but after his appointment i was backing him the way I seen it was that the 49ers came in and saved the club and if they decided he was the right man then that will do for me. But after seeing the manager of Rangers on national tv calling out a player like that nah that's not on that gets dealt with in-house that was in my opinion a deliberate attempt at deflection so he has to go.

I know EHL, you think danny rohl has a very good chance of replacing Russell Martin as our next head coach, if indeed the board choose to part company with martin this early ?I received info myself yesterday which i posted on here that a former Rangers player who was playing golf with a guy i know well told him that barry ferguson was spoken to on friday to gauge if Russell Martin didn't improve would he be prepared with his backroom team of neil mccann and billy dodds, to take the job until the end of the season and if big improvements came to fruition, he'd be given the job permanently after this season ? Only passing on the info i received to share with you all on here ???.

Something is telling me they won't sack Martin now, but if he does get sacked after a couple of months you then need to give the man who appointed him his marches orders as well, was a crazy appointment anyway given someone the manager job not one fan wanted, I felt really positive about his takeover but one job one error.

Going to be honest, I was told yesterday that this process had started and that preferred candidates were being approached. My information is that some of those talked about in the summer ae back in contention, and that Gerrard is the front runner.

Hopefully before Sunday or league is finished, a very average Celtic team could embarrass us without having to work hard, we are not going to get better even the most optimistic fan knows it, I honestly think any other manager in our league could of had 9 points and confident of 12 on Sunday if they managed us, even if we managed to fluke a result on Sunday it will not be turned around and the board must pull the trigger NOW.

Sometimes in life you just have to admit that you made a mistake, doing it this early would not be a bad sign from the owners, just a sign that they recognise this fact.
I have to say though that, with almost all the season to go, that if they bring in Ferguson and his crew of commentators, I would be in despair. These three guys did nothing last season to show they could turn the team around and they would have the same excuse " we are stuck with these players"
There should be no more gambles or experiments, we are a big club and if we want to go back to be a winning big club we need an experienced manager who does more than good power point presentations.

He will get till Xmas and the league will be lost by then.
They won't trust him in Jan window. And it's same old same old. We can all see it coming.
So if the new owners are ruthless they will cut their losses, I'd say he has two very tough games to save his job in Brugge and them and if he loses both or there is no improvement. He is gone and we can try salvage the season.
