The way things are going I'd seiously consider taking the St Mirren manager, Robinson.
Knows the league, has a robust style of play and has an eye for a player. Just 3 of the things that Russell Martin doesn't have.

I can't understand why Ferguson, McCann and Dodds get mentioned, their record when they took over was pretty poor, results weren't great and some weird team selections. They talk now about what they did but did they . I listened to McCann bum up Danilo coming on and what he would give, they never picked him.
To be honest if they had been any good they might even have got the job but they weren't.

Wslgers4ever, barry, neil and doddsy wouldn't have been my first choice but remember these guys inherited players that wasn't their signings so let's be fair and imagine if they had the chance to do the rebuild permanently and build their own Rangers team ?It most definitely could work and not one of us could say in general talk they they definitely wouldn't work as our new permanent management team ? Ferguson was good at being the front man of that management team getting players up for the games and a very good motivator from the touchline whereas mccann was the brains behind the team, very sharp football brain tactically and dodds good on set pieces and working with our strikers, so they all had good, different attributes they could offer ?So not the worst idea in the world if they got the job until the end of the season and depending how they did, beyond this season perhaps ?.
