Sorry to mention him again, but have it from very strong source that shankland deal is all but done in summer. He won't sign new deal with hearts, and only one place he wants to go to.

1.) 16 Feb 2024 17:52:31
I really don’t believe shankland is coming to the gers. He’s too old for what clement is trying to build.

2.) 16 Feb 2024 18:04:02
I’d love to go to Rangers as well but I’m sure Clement doesn’t want me either??.

3.) 16 Feb 2024 18:28:06
Just let it go.

4.) 16 Feb 2024 19:54:49
Is your source one of the Stoltman brothers? ?.

5.) 16 Feb 2024 20:51:59
It’s not a done deal, shanks won’t be a rangers player.

6.) 16 Feb 2024 20:52:17
We are needed a striker for next seasons champions league shankland is not that man.

7.) 16 Feb 2024 22:20:39
Let’s drop this now. He’s not coming and he’s not wanted under this management.

8.) 16 Feb 2024 21:11:41
Personally I’d take big shanks but I don’t think he’s the type of player that PC would want, the gaffer seems to like players that are athletic and hard working .
Again I’d like to see shanks at rangers but (don’t shoot me) is he really better than big dessers?
Even though big dessers sometimes looks as if he’s never seen a footballw before, It’s hard to argue with his goals to game ratio Since PC come in .

Let’s not forget Shankland takes penalties and Dessers doesn’t.

I don’t know the exact numbers but I think dessers is on about 13 goals this season

I think tav had scored maybe about 10 penalties?

Granted dessers probably isn’t as good at penalties as tav but if tav has scored 10 then let’s say dessers would have atleast 7 if he was our penalty taker?

Rough maths that would put big Cyril on 20 goals in February! Not to shabby

I think dessers and shanks are both similar styles and having them both would be a waste.

9.) 16 Feb 2024 21:20:16
Alot of peoples sources claimed he was sigining in Jan yet none of the people's so called sources new about the signings we made

I don't think pc wants him.

11.) 17 Feb 2024 04:43:19
He’s better than what we have at the moment with Roofe being injury prone unfortunately. On current form he’d score a barrel load for us and do us a turn but he’s getting to an age where his next move will be his last big chance to make life changing money so my guess is if we are interested then we could well be priced out! Would love to see Miovski in the blue also but again we will be priced well outta that unless we win the league and splash the champions league money. All hearsay at the moment.

12.) 17 Feb 2024 07:33:16
Shankland or Miovski would score goals for us of that there is no doubt - However I will go with what big PC wants but hopefully we are also scouring foreign leagues for a similar but younger hungry type goalscorer of our own for a fraction of the price as the two lads quoted - as there will be plenty of talent out there - its just having right team to find it?.

13.) 17 Feb 2024 10:33:41
Shankland is very similar to the Billy Dodds signing from early 2000s, not considered the big signing to take club to next level but just kept scoring for us, he turned into first pick for the Scotland team and a fans fav for us, with two games a week from the off next season so it’s a no brainer with year of contract left, would not recoup or make money on the transfers but a player at his best for two or three seasons will help the team big time.

14.) 17 Feb 2024 10:45:38
I have a feeling it is Miovski we will go for. Been very impressed with him this season. He is a very clever player and draws defenders about the place. Still only 24 with bags of potential. He very much fits our style of player.

15.) 17 Feb 2024 10:56:08
Bang on Carluke but cannot see us giving the sheep nearly 6 mill that will never happen - it will be Shankland at lower price or maybe something left field that could shock us!

16.) 17 Feb 2024 11:03:53
Just let Shankland go, he’s 28 now, so if a lot of posters think he’s too old now? They’ll hardly change their minds next year. His time has past, it’s a pity but it’s fact I imagine?

17.) 17 Feb 2024 15:48:54
I've never been mores relieved we didn't sign a player - imagine this place if we did. every goal would generate 100 I told you so and every miss would generate 150 I told you so's.

18.) 17 Feb 2024 16:24:02
They do that for big dessers every week, never happy EHL☹️.

19.) 17 Feb 2024 17:44:04
Feel it's more likely to be Denkey.

20.) 17 Feb 2024 19:46:30
Difficult to predict but at 23 years of age Denkey might fit our player trading model.

21.) 17 Feb 2024 19:49:38
That is never happening either jeezo boy is meant to be worth £20 m.

22.) 17 Feb 2024 21:47:45
£20m?
Denkey currently valued at €8m which would still be a massive outlay for Rangers.
Leave it up to PC and NK as who would have guessed our January window loan signings.

23.) 18 Feb 2024 01:26:45
This is going to be controversial but Shankland is not any better than Dessers and that’s the reason he’s playing for Hearts in the prime of his career.

24.) 18 Feb 2024 04:19:09
AC that is very controversial considering he scores every week for hearts and the finishes are top drawer.

25.) 18 Feb 2024 07:48:03
Correct Coully and Shankland has nowhere near same amount of chances that Dessers gets put on a plate - we could do a lot worse than Mr Shanks?.

26.) 18 Feb 2024 14:26:09
Billy, utter rubbish, Denkey valued 8m euros, which in real money about 6m quid. Well within price range and given age would be great return.

27.) 19 Feb 2024 08:53:11
Comparing Shanks to Dessers? no more bevvy for that guy! HAHA

If Shanks played for Gers then he would have so many more scoring opportunities like Dessers does, the difference being that Shanks would actually score so Shanks would likely have over 20 goals already this season (not including penalties)

Only thing now saving Dessers is that he has scored some good goals but he misses so so so many easy chances that would kill teams off.

I do not think Gers will sign Shankland but show the man some respect.

28.) 19 Feb 2024 22:16:53
I can’t remember where I heard it but one of the many rangers related podcast I listen to daily mentioned oli mcburnie on a Bosman in the summer?
I’ve never been impressed anytime I’ve watched him but he must have something considering the fees he’s gone for in the past .
Only 27 years old
13 appearances 6 goal involvements this season.

I’d take him on a free in the hope of selling him back down south for 5,6,7,8 million.

What do you guys think?

29.) 20 Feb 2024 11:03:04
Just a point on Shankland's age. Someone said above that he's past it at 28. I take it then you wouldn't want Harry Kane at the age of 30? And before any of the usual suspects start trying to say I'm likening them, this post only relates to their age!

06 Sep 2022 22:27:28
Not my rumour, taken from someone off Twitter.

Douglas park selling shares to John Bennett and Hong Kong led consortium.

He's taken all money owed and that's why no one signed until January window.

Apparently breaking next week.

It's probably rubbish but it's a rumours site after all.

Al bertz

1.) 06 Sep 2022 23:12:19
Park is owed no money, his loans were all converted to shares. Mb he is cashing in.

2.) 06 Sep 2022 23:47:03
There has been rumours of new investment in the Club since the latter part of last season and possibly before and the Far East has been mentioned in respect of the Investment.
When the rumour that I posted a wile back materialised the stumbling bock allegedly was that the prospective investors wanted new blood on the Board with one or two being removed before any deal was concluded.
Whether this is the same or just another bit of gossip I have no idea.

3.) 07 Sep 2022 03:36:46
This 'investment ' from the Far East/ HongKong has been doing the rounds for years. Usually appearing near AGM time.
When is the AGM?

4.) 07 Sep 2022 06:36:23
I read this rumour on another Rangers site. The rumour talks about another takeover, which as Bar72 said, happens near about every year. The rumour only mentions Park selling his shares, but as he only has around 12% of the shareholding, then how can this be a "takeover"? And as John said, any money invested by him was converted to shares, so the theory of him taking his money back doesn't add up? Unless there was some sort of agreement in place where any converted shares would be bought straight back If a certain number was hit by money brought into the club from player sales, earnings/ prize money etc. As this "investment" rumour is a yearly occurrence, I'll adopt a wait and see policy before getting my hopes up.

5.) 07 Sep 2022 07:34:57
Douglas Park cannot touch that money that the club have made Or shouldn't be That is players transfers, Clubs money for doing well in competitions and also the fans that pay this club!

There is no way Mr Park can touch that money Surely he is more credible than that and he would just take his soft loans over the course and not in one chunk Anyway I reckon it is just a few million he is due Defintely not 10's of millions!

6.) 07 Sep 2022 08:42:58
Bleed blood what r u rambling on about.
He can sell all his shares and keep the money.

7.) 07 Sep 2022 08:54:32
We need to be very careful of what we wish for reg a takeover, our board aren't perfect as we all know but they've brought the club back from the brink and now we're reaping the rewards, cl football tonight, never thought I'd have seen it back at ibrox, I don't want another 2012 situation.

8.) 07 Sep 2022 10:49:48
Mark someone buying 12% off the shares is not a takeover.

9.) 07 Sep 2022 12:42:58
When are the accounts released?

10.) 07 Sep 2022 13:18:49
The way the board is playing tit for two woth the sofa and BBC and every other company not following the lead of the board or asking questions thst needed answered. it is time for a change of ownership . we should have been yhe bigger side of a bitter argument and said no we did this on out own we got back where we are with no help . all this we ain't playing legal actions and the likes make out club look amateur in my view .

Then we get to the current action against some American woman who's been hawking the club for investment. no smoke without fire lads must be something in the background. dave king also popping back in with his penny's worth like i say no smoke without fire regarding takeover or investment.

The board deserve credit but in my view have taken the club as far or above even they know how to handle. now it will all be about but I paid this I paid that I invested this bla bla bla . can see the signs of this if u are sensible enough .

Something ain't right behind the scenes it's nit financial trouble but the money coming in is definitely an issue to those who invested and will want a return . they have shares yes they can sell them yes and get money back . but they won't agree on things and this will be where these rumours have begun someone's spat the dummy out n not playing ball no more .

If our club was officially put up for sale dame sure there would be plenty out there now willing to buy and take to the next level.

11.) 07 Sep 2022 13:49:25
Ness if our club was put up for sale Ashley would buy it as a toy.

12.) 07 Sep 2022 13:53:31
Hope your well Ness?
Unfortunately I don't agree, there's no money in it for anyone to take over our club as it stands j6st now.
There are no sugar daddies out there for us.

13.) 07 Sep 2022 14:19:01
I doubt very much that we will see an outright purchase of the Club anytime soon and if that happened I would be very surprised.
That said, there is always a possibility that an existing or new investor, willing to acquire Douglas Park's shares could do this and equally we could see additional Investment coming in, perhaps as a Rights Issue.

In such circumstances the Parks Family might be quite happy to see their shares, might not be willing or able to take up a Rights Issue and might be happy to concentrate more time to their Motor Business.

It is all conjecture at this point however I would welcome new Blood on the Board, I am not a big fan of Graeme Park albeit hopefully he cannot do much damage as a Non-Exec! However I would be delighted to see him replaced.

14.) 07 Sep 2022 15:25:35
Wou wld love if Park goes in exchange for Honk Kong investment. Rid of parochial bus driver for World wide investment would put clubs stock thru roof. Seems to me Parks minimal 12% gets him on board but is he investing hard cash in club other than soft loans which now club on up could be repaid immediately.

15.) 07 sep 2022 15:48:05
bleed blu, having read your rant about rangers playing weds/ sat ( something every club has always done btw) and the nonsenwe here i assume your new to the football game.

16.) 07 Sep 2022 17:02:58
miller u do know majority off our key investors are from hong kong china ie scott woltharth halstead latham et al.

17.) 07 Sep 2022 17:27:49
Douglas park has been nothing but good for our club.

18.) 07 Sep 2022 18:05:06
Bassey, I don't believe that it is Douglas Park that is the problem, his son however is a different matter. Thankfully as aNon-Exec he has limited power but there are current Investors that would be much better names for our Board.

19.) 08 Sep 2022 10:30:10
To John 26 and other posters who hear things within club do you feel that Gio understands that being the Rangers manager is more than being the Head Coach. It's about being the leader of football operations, it's being spokesman, defender of the club, fans and traditions. Some of his recent actions and interviews makes me wonder. What is the view from inside Ibrox?

If Bassey does go, which it's it's £25m plus sell on, let's be honest he's going, and with Helander's injuries, Bologun away and Barasic form inconsistent, and also with Katic not looking like being fancied. Does that mean if we sell its 2 new cb's and a Lb?

Al bertz

1.) 15 Jul 2022 12:51:10
I think one CB and one LB should come in, bazoer hopefully at CB and a left back.
