Walter's, all 3 of them were identified and being tracked long before Rohl got here. In his first interview Chileans said he first knew of our interest in the summer. It's an expensive signing but too many people belittle the Bundesliga 3. It's a decent quality league, great to watch with well attended matches. Hansa Rostock play their home matches to 25000, not remotely close to 2nd or 3rd tier here or even Championship for that matter and many players step up the leagues from here.
If Naderi isn't a hit I don't think the league he is from is the problem. We scored loads of goals under Gerrard but we've not really excelled at his attacking style since then. If we insist on hemming teams in their own final third for 60-70% of matches any striker is going to struggle to find room.
