Depending on how asgaard scan goes if out few months ( hopefully not ) then josh would be a good option in that position along with cameron and can also do job on wide areas for free transfer imo good deal but only if asgaard is out.

Windass on a free who can play anywhere across the front 3 and just off a main striker would add attacking depth to squad.
He's better than Lawrence and always available, no brainer for me.
He was 1 of our best if not our best player when he was last here and has only improved since.

So much negativity as usual, Windass isn't a bad shout, he's not better than Lawrence or Hagi. A Significant downgrade I would say but a decent squad member on low wages and free transfer, so it makes sense.

Any time I saw him play for Wednesday he impressed me. No secret that Gerrard wanted to keep him. Could be like the invisible man at times up here, but when he was on his game he did very well. Don't have a problem with him giving it tight to supporters. Works both ways imo.

Windass is a goal scoring midfielder would I start him no but looking for a goal with 15 mins to play I would put him on as a sub and then as he offers more of a threat goal scoring wise than any midfielder we currently have He would be a great option from the bench to have.

He will easily get a English championship side, he's a better player now than when left but we are strong in midfield and don't need another player their, get ten players out the door and bring in another winger and CB then one out one in afterwards, not going to be easy to get this done tho.

Hagi - Consistent international since the under 15's.
hagi has done that at age 26.
while windass has done Zilch by age 31.
