Right guys I'm just going to put it out there. They say It's good to talk and all that so here goes. I've really not been in a good headspace recently. I've been coming on more as a release as I really enjoy interacting with certain ones, but find myself easily irritated at certain others and my mind constantly goes over stupid pointless arguments even during the night when I can't shut off. Among other issues, It was anniversary of my wife's dads death this week and on top of her own ill health she's been all over the place.
Along with being a window cleaner, this garbage weather means I've been struggling and feeling the pressure and feel burnt out, even good days like today I just can't face going out which I can't explain. I know many of u are going thru your own struggles so Sorry for lengthy unloading but just needed an outlet and apologies to any I irritate along the way.
{Ed001's Note - if you need to unload do so! No need to apologise, anyone who doesn't want to read it or get involved can just scroll past. We all need to talk and if this platform is the place you feel comfortable doing so, then please do, and that goes for anyone else.}

Really appreciate it, Ed. I know not a football post, but maybe affects how I react.
{Ed001's Note - football is nothing but a distraction from life mate, life itself is far more important so please just take care and if you need to talk do so.}
27 Feb 2026 11:55:13
Hi, Kaiser.
I think the site is a perfect release for many.
Sometimes venting about Rangers is a release for the other stuff going on in our lives.
I know I've been a bit more opinionated than normal, but I'm in the middle of a cluster of migraines for 3 weeks now.
I even got pulled up at work for the tone of an email I sent to the full department, which was more because of my own frustrations at the constant headaches than pee'd off at colleagues.
As Ed says, no need to apologise. We should all be big enough and ugly enough to take any disagreements on the chin.
Look after yourself - your health is your wealth.
And keep on venting!
27 Feb 2026 12:15:08
Kaiser, hopefully it's only brief, mate. It seems you're having a very tough time right now. I'm really useless at this kinda chat, but you take care, mate. π
27 Feb 2026 12:15:18
Cheers, MPH. Whether or not an argumentative football site is the right place, I don't know. ππ Migraines are a nightmare, mate.
27 Feb 2026 12:31:21
U need a distraction, bud, even if it's sporadic. Don't dally too long if it's on top of you on here though. Go for a walk, hug the Mrs, talk to a trusted friend, see the doc. None of this macho mince. Soldiering on makes it worse.
Go and see him, u may need an edge taken off to allow u to focus on what matters more, not just your health, but your gd lady needs u on top of your game.
Wish you all the best, bud, and you know there is help on here. Take care, bud. ππ
27 Feb 2026 12:34:06
Take care, bud, and hope Sunday goes a long way to making you feel better. π
27 Feb 2026 12:37:24
Cheers, Mystar. Do appreciate it. Now get back to arguing wi folk. ππ
27 Feb 2026 12:50:21
Kaiser, never apologise for coming on here to unload. Sometimes just saying it can be a massive help for u.
Also, if u haven't, talk to those close by.
Take care, and God bless.
27 Feb 2026 13:00:57
Hopefully even posting that made you feel better, Kaiser. The real credit is to you here for recognising that you are struggling a bit, and the real worry is when people don't or can't recognise the stress they are under. This is the first step to getting back to better times. Never apologise for sharing this type of struggle.
We have all been there to varying degrees at some point. It's important to talk and share what's happening, so don't hold back and speak with friends and family, and I include the people on this forum. You will get past this, and it might not feel like it at the moment, but you will.
27 Feb 2026 13:04:30
Kaiser, I'm sorry to hear you're going through a rough patch. When things feel heavy, I've found that just having someone sit and listenβwithout trying to "fix" itβmakes a world of difference. A problem shared really is a problem halved.
If my posts have been grating on you, please don't lose sleep over them. They aren't worth the headspace. I found I was the same a little while back and stopped checking threads once I had made my initial point for a while. It stopped me getting dragged into that mindset, I felt.
I hope your work gets more back to normal as the weather gets better. One thing I do know is that you need to get out there and live your normal life, however hard that seems at times.
The first step is always the hardest, but it gets easier the more you do it.
I enjoy our debates and arguments, particularly, but need to bear in mind how others are at that precise time. However, I always say and think that and fail completely when I am in the midst of it.
Take care of yourself and those you love. Football is nowhere near as important as your or their health.
Feel free to come on any time and unload. No-one better than a bunch of faceless and anonymous posters to unload to.
27 Feb 2026 13:05:14
Mate, I have suffered from bad mental health since my teens. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but you should go speak 2 your GP and let them know how you're feeling. Don't be ashamed.
I know it takes weeks for an appointment; I am not sure if all doctors are the same. If you phone them for opening, you can get an emergency appointment that day. But please speak 2 someone.
27 Feb 2026 13:11:01
Kaiser, you take it easy. As others have said, there's help out there.
π¦πΊπ΄
27 Feb 2026 13:23:42
Kaiser, from what I've seen, you have absolutely no need to apologise. Take care & all the best.
27 Feb 2026 14:01:53
Take care, Kaiser.
From my point of view, although naturally people on the site have different views, I'm of the opinion that people on here are generally very respectful with each other.
It sometimes gets a bit heated and tedious, as disagreements can drag on a bit, but that's only to be expected. Generally a very respectful group of people, including yourself, Kaiser. The mind is complex. If you feel it's getting too much, speak to someone about it.
27 Feb 2026 14:08:30
Thanks, all. I appreciate all the thoughts. On a lighter note, I went to collect something from docs and returned to my van, but I couldn't get in it for some reason, only for the actual owner to walk up, wondering what I was doing. I'd taken the car and was parked next to him. I tell u, I'm not right. π€ͺπ€£
27 Feb 2026 14:14:24
That's just old age, mate. π Do it all the time. In fact, every time I go upstairs for something, by the time I get there, I've forgotten what I was going for.
27 Feb 2026 14:57:03
I'd have loved to have seen that, Kaiser. Sorry to hear what you are going through, and no need to apologise for offloading on the site when you feel a need.
We may not know each other personally, but sometimes you may feel it easier to post on here for that reason, and the guys are quite good on here when someone is having a difficult time.
Take care, mate.
27 Feb 2026 15:08:10
Kaiser, I unwrapped a Kit Kat. Threw the biscuit in the bin and was about to eat the wrapping. π Getting old. Get yourself out, mate. Daylight. Sun if you're lucky. Vitamin D. Been a long, dark winter. Easier to stay in. Get yourself out, mate. Hope you're ok.
27 Feb 2026 15:29:21
Walters. πππ The Kit Kat made me LOL, excellent, mate. It brightens up a long Friday afternoon.
27 Feb 2026 15:37:39
Kaiser, if you're struggling mentally, could I suggest you try taking magnesium daily? Get a good quality 3 in 1 as there's 4 types of magnesium, and the 4th one is normally what u get in the cheaper versions, which the body doesn't actually process properly. This should help with your mood and your sleep tenfold, mate.
I'd also suggest trying mushrooms. There is one called reishi that will help you sleep at night, mate, and also lion's mane should help with your overall brain and headspace problems.
I guarantee these will help you and you'll be shocked.
27 Feb 2026 15:40:07
Cordyceps mushroom is another you could try, that will help with the lack of energy or get up and go type feeling you have. ππ»
27 Feb 2026 15:45:58
Cheers, guys, gave me a laugh. Thanks, StevieG. I'll have a look, though. I can't stand mushrooms. I'm no fungi. π Sorry.
27 Feb 2026 16:21:21
As the Ed said, life is far more important than football, mate, but it's good you get a release from it here. We are all behind you, mate. Anytime you need to unload, just unload it to me. π
27 Feb 2026 16:25:17
Kaiser, bud, you are talking about getting a bit confused. Believe me, you are not alone.
I've got a printed calendar next to my laptop, but I still get mixed up with appointments, etc.
I then thought I'd get a highlighter and cross the days off - so I hope that helps. Only problem now is that because that highlighter is the same size as my vape, I'm picking that up and trying to smoke it.
27 Feb 2026 17:41:34
π€£π€£ Jim, I tried to vape the weans toy harmonica last week.
27 Feb 2026 17:53:08
Dado, what age is your Monica π? Just wondering what type of toy it was.
27 Feb 2026 18:01:10
π€£π€£ A lifeless Chinese one, mate. π¬ Temu if interested.
27 Feb 2026 18:03:26
Jim, that's brilliant. πππ Imagining you walking round with neon yellow lips. There's an advert for giving up vaping. U and Dado together. πππ
27 Feb 2026 18:13:04
Getting things off your chest will make you feel a lot better, even if it's to a bunch of random strangers. Keep the chin up. The rough area I live in has so many boarded-up windows that the local window cleaner goes round with a sander.
27 Feb 2026 18:39:19
Kaiser, don't know about you, but the quality of jokes (?) by the posters has brightened my Friday; I am easily entertained, granted.
That is the thing about the forum- in amongst all of the bickering and debate/argument there are a lot of these human interactions, which make you realise we are all, deep down, the same fans.
Thanks, guys, for brightening up another otherwise boring work day for me anyway. π
27 Feb 2026 18:53:28
I laughed tonight, especially at your post, Jim.
Best remedy after another stressful week.
What a great group of people on here!
Don't always agree with you guys, but we all have 1 thing in common and it's a deep love for Rangers. Let's keep the debate respectful to each other, as it always has been.
27 Feb 2026 19:21:18
Kaiser, these things I've suggested for u come in a supplement form, mate, so would be a capsule or a jelly sweet, for example.
Best to try the capsule.
Look up the company 'British Supplements'. They're very good for this stuff and very fairly priced.
27 Feb 2026 19:30:36
I know Angus. Thanks, guys. Sir Walter heard all the usual windae cleaner jokes like learning on the navy because I don't do corners, but that one's brilliant. π€£π€£π€£
27 Feb 2026 19:46:42
Stevie G, love your enthusiasm for these supplements, but by law you have to declare your shareholding in the company ππ and the commission you get.
27 Feb 2026 19:52:58
I'm glad you shared with us, Kaiser. We all have our ups and downs, mate, we are all human. Hopefully, when we pump Celtic, it will cheer you up, even a little. Watp.
27 Feb 2026 20:08:17
Just glad Stevie said supplements and not suppositories. π π
27 Feb 2026 21:20:55
Kaiser, I'm pretty sure your post will have resonated with many fellow bears. Sorry to hear about your challenges. Stay strong. As many others have said, hopefully the Gers will help raise everyone's spirits with a victory on Sunday, and we can all enjoy a teddy bears picnic. π¬π§π
27 Feb 2026 22:04:53
Kaiser, I'm also a window cleaner, so I feel your pain regarding the weather and hardly working, which doesn't help the mental health side of things. If you are ever struggling, look into Andy Mans Club. They are helping men every week; maybe it will help if you need to get things off your chest more often. π
27 Feb 2026 22:22:58
From one blue to another, Kaiser. π«π Keep talking, mate, it doesn't solve everything, but it definitely helps. Good luck, pal.
27 Feb 2026 22:49:44
Btblues, a good shout for Everyman Club or Men's Shed around. I haven't used one, but having had some dealings with them through work, they do a lot of good for a lot of guys in communities. Guys, in general, don't keep in contact with mates as they grow older, so it's an easy way to get out and chat and have a laugh.
Everyone I met at one had nothing but good to say about them. The more of us older blokes who know about their existence, the better.
28 Feb 2026 01:29:57
Angus, nothing wrong with plugging a wee bit for the company, you know, haha.
But no, in all seriousness, the natural, holistic stuff is the way to go.
Once you start getting into the doctor's stuff, it's almost impossible to get away from.
I can't recommend the mushrooms enough. I've helped a good few people get onto them and other similar stuff.
28 Feb 2026 11:16:58
Shady dude. β¬οΈβ¬οΈππ€£π€£
27 Feb 2026 03:59:22
Just a thought - since Sterling probably isn't available for sunday and usually starts these games would anyone be against Djiga playing RB? With his pace and height would it benefit the team more than trying to cover tavs lack of legs.
I remember big Balogun did it one Old Firm and got MOTM.
Cant see it happening but i wouldn't be against it.
Agree2
27 Feb 2026 06:02:08
BigDado, Fernandez can play RB, mate.
Fernandez, Souttar, Djiga, Rommens?
27 Feb 2026 12:41:05
Star, I'm not sure Fernandez has the pace to recover if it goes over his head at RB.
I think we can win this game from set pieces, and with Dio Raskin and Chucky in midfield to win the battles, I think that would be sensible.
I think we would win the match lining up with that back 4 (or Sterling) and that midfield 3. Moore & one of Bajrami/Olsen, for me, supporting 1 striker.
27 Feb 2026 13:34:57
Aye, just a suggestion, mate. Fernandez has decent pace, BigDado. I think Sterling will play. Maybe wishful thinking.
27 Feb 2026 14:16:13
Not a fan of moving players around in any game, but particularly this one, as the new position isn't natural to them and unless there are no other options. I know that it worked with Balogun a while back, but that isn't the norm. Play Tav, at least he will be there to convert the two penalties we won't get. π
27 Feb 2026 14:37:41
Hope so, Star, re Sterling.
Angus, yeah, see your point. I just never feel secure with Tav at RB going into these games; it would nullify their threat a bit more with some pace at RB.
27 Feb 2026 15:31:34
Dado, I can see why you wouldn't, but in recent games I think he has done okay. He is waning, I know, but his deliveries still will panic their defence from our set pieces.
Maeda is nowhere near as good either atm, so the threat isn't as great.
Just need to trust the team and be on the front foot from the start. I will watch as usual from between my fingers. π
27 Feb 2026 17:54:13
Surprised Sterling even mentioned for the game, but delighted he might make it. A good 60-70 mins would boost our chances, I think. Once we're four up, we can give him a break and bring Tav on for our penalty.
27 Feb 2026 18:41:27
Coopers Rohl mentioned two players - one who would be a while out and another who could make the Livi game. We all thought it was Sterling and Naderi. Naderi was on the bench, so I assumed he made it, but perhaps Sterling was out for just the game, and Antman is the longer-term injury. Just a thought.
26 Feb 2026 15:21:18
Change of subject but i'm starting to wonder how the upcoming world cup can actually go a month without major incidents happening in Mexico and the USA. Can't ever think of a time in both those countries being more volatile to dangerous incidents
Agree2
26 Feb 2026 19:24:43
Major incidents in USA?
26 Feb 2026 19:51:54
Tell me now after I am all booked up for Boston. π€·π»ββοΈ
26 Feb 2026 19:56:08
Cooper, you won't get in once they have seen what you write on here. That won't get past the social media check they will be doing on everyone. ππ
26 Feb 2026 21:21:41
Couple of boys out my work are going, but they're flying from Dublin, said it's easier when it comes to customs.
26 Feb 2026 21:37:03
It's OK, Angus. I didn't declare being a member of Rangersrumours, only Facebook and Instagram. They'll never know. π
26 Feb 2026 21:37:58
Although not figured out yet, I will get my haggis through customs. π€·π»ββοΈ
26 Feb 2026 22:12:25
What kind of major incident? The only chance of crowd trouble is usually when the Cup is in Europe, or is it something else, Deecee?
26 Feb 2026 22:23:37
Put it in your sporran since they are now allowed. π
26 Feb 2026 22:39:48
They will need a pet passport for their haggis.
27 Feb 2026 09:03:16
Might need 2 pet passports, one for the haggis and the other for the sporran. Might be easier just taking some slice sausage. π€·π»ββοΈ
26 Feb 2026 11:45:06
Butland
Sterling
Souttar
Fernandez
Rommens
Raskin
Dio
Chuckwani
Moore
Naderi
Chermiti
Agree4
26 Feb 2026 14:03:03
That's my team in a 4-2-2-2, Stuey, but can't see Sterling being fit, unfortunately, so probably Tav.
26 Feb 2026 15:26:40
For what it's worth, I'd go.
Butland
Sterling I'd fit, if not Aaron's.
Souttar
Fernandes
Rommens
Dio
Raskin
Chucky
Skov
Naderi
Moore
I think Aaron's pace means he plays ahead of Tav because Tounetki is going to be their most dangerous player.
26 Feb 2026 15:34:06
Chermiti needs to be playing, Stevie. We've already seen he can do it in games like this, mate.
I'm playing both Chermiti and Naderi.
26 Feb 2026 15:45:01
I feel ye, mate. I get your point, I do. I wrestled a bit with who plays, but for me we can't sacrifice width against a team who use width as a big part of their game.
It's a difficult one, mate. That's why Danny gets the money lol.
26 Feb 2026 15:51:27
Stevie, same set-up as it was against Hearts for me, mate. Better team than them we face on Sunday, imo.
26 Feb 2026 18:47:06
Fair play, bro. I can't argue with that. Let's just hope he goes the right way, whichever that may be.
26 Feb 2026 20:38:02
Hearts wouldn't be that German team.
26 Feb 2026 22:25:48
Storm watched a bit of the game. Not sure you can look at that as any sort of forecast for what will happen on Sunday. Half the team were rested, and knowing they were through doesn't make them want to put that much effort in. Thought it was an easy 1-0 defeat for Stuttgart. π
26 Feb 2026 22:42:09
Never watched the game, Angus. Had a look at the stats. Only going by them, it looked fortunate for winning the game. Stuttgart were 4-1 up and had rested a few players. I noticed Stiller never started. I really like him. Still good them getting a win, though.
27 Feb 2026 09:44:07
Stiller was carrying an injury. Two goals were chopped off by VAR by millimetres, it seems. At one point about three balls in three attacks went right through the middle of their defence. Their LW had Donovan on toast every time he ran at him. Hatate is so poor at the moment, I hope he plays.
Maeda is not much better, tbh.
Not sure how much confidence that game will give them, as they scored early and had only two other shots with 34% of possession. If they had scored again, then I think Stuttgart would have just upped the pace.
27 Feb 2026 09:59:56
Training game for Stuttgart. They were playing within themselves. Agree, Angus. π
25 Feb 2026 21:16:16
Onewalter, I would pick the exactly the same team gives us strength high energy & gives us a bench that can impact the game & offer something different.
{Ed033's Note - If this is a reply, please use the appropriate reply form.

25 Feb 2026 17:42:35
I think the consensus of opinion is that Sunday is a must win game.We have to get ahead of Celtic get a few points in front to pile the pressure on them and Hearts.Let's hope that Olsen really shows us what he can do IMO he's been a big disappointment so far, we can't consider paying big bucks for him if he can't shine when it really matters in an OF game.No excuses such as he hasn't played much, he should be pretty fit and has had a few games to get used to Scotland now.
Agree1
25 Feb 2026 20:47:58
Must not lose rather than must win in my opinion.
25 Feb 2026 23:24:56
Think it's both if that possible lol.
26 Feb 2026 08:28:02
Olsen will have to go up 2 or 3 gears for me to have any impact on Sunday. If a recent rumour is true, if you include his loan fee & full salary, he is costing us north of Β£75k pw. It's time he stepped up to justify it & a possible 8m transfer in the summer.
26 Feb 2026 08:35:54
Olsen wouldn't be starting for me.
26 Feb 2026 09:59:24
I've not been overly noticed by Olsen but this is the type of game he's been signed to play in and influence, so for me I'd play him.
I wouldn't be slow in subbing him off. If he's been missing for the first 20-30 mins, I'd sub him with no hesitation, but he's been signed as a big-game player, so he has to be given the chance in the biggest game so far of the season.
26 Feb 2026 10:07:35
It's a must win aphelion, in my opinion. If we lose and Hearts win, they go 7 in front; we ain't catching that back up.
26 Feb 2026 10:10:25
We need to get the ball to him though for him to have any influence. He also isn't the sort of player who flies past his winger on the outside, which might be what people are looking for. Against Hearts, he and Moore moved inside to play midfield and let FBs go past, and he was better then. I think that, and cutting in, will be where he will be at his best.
We can't compare him to either Cerny or Sima, as they are completely different types of players. I think he has been half decent in the time he has been on the pitch, with the figures he outputs, without being outstanding, and he is capable of so much more. I also think he will get better as understanding with other players develops and he gets full match fitness.
26 Feb 2026 11:00:09
Must win. Draw doesn't suit us. Olsen to start on bench.
26 Feb 2026 12:31:03
It's a must win because they are 2 points behind us with a game in hand. How anyone can see that it's anything else is beyond me.
26 Feb 2026 12:48:25
If we lose at the weekend, and they win game in hand, the league is gone.
26 Feb 2026 13:09:57
We lose against Celtic, I can't see a way back. We can't beat them, we don't deserve to win the league.
26 Feb 2026 14:20:55
We are maybe bang average, but we're better than their bang average. We can't beat them. We won't win the league.
26 Feb 2026 16:47:50
He may start Olsen to try and contain the run and deliveries of Tierney. If Tav starts, he will certainly need help. I would like him to just concentrate on being a right back.
26 Feb 2026 22:18:30
It's a must-win for us, or we will be kidding ourselves to think of different scenarios to try and win the title with any other result. I think all games up to the break are must-win, or we will be up against it.
25 Feb 2026 11:29:09
On Sunday, injuries permitting i'd like to see us go for a 4-3-3.
Butland
Sterling, Souttar, Fernandes, Rommens
Raskin, Dio, Chukka
Moore, Naderi, Chermiti
Dio can get up and support our forwards and Chukka and Raskin will win the midfield. Moore, more central with our full backs being more advanced and getting balls into the box.
Agree5
25 Feb 2026 11:43:53
Butland
Stirling, Dijga, Fernandez, Rommans
Dio, Chunky
Barjimi, Moore, Antman
Moviski, Naderi would be my starting 11. Unfortunately, too many of the favourites will start.
25 Feb 2026 11:45:03
Need Naderi n Chermiti to get in about their CH's OWS, unsettle them. π
25 Feb 2026 11:50:17
Sterling fit ows? Not sure, he'd be in my team if he is.
Butland
Sterling
Souttar
Fernandez
Rommens
Raskin
Diomande
Bajrami
Moore
Naderi
Chermiti.
25 Feb 2026 11:58:22
One thing is for sure, if Tav and Souttar start, we won't win the match.
25 Feb 2026 12:02:57
You could say that about most of the Celtic team, Wear.
25 Feb 2026 12:10:49
12 players would give us a better chance as well, Wear.
25 Feb 2026 12:20:45
Yes, it would. I'd like a team with no Tav, Souttar, Raskin, Gassama, Olsen, or Chermiti starting.
25 Feb 2026 12:25:03
Add Aasgaard to that list. He's the worst of the lot.
25 Feb 2026 12:27:07
Wear, the same Chermiti that's a big player in games like this? Glad you have no say.
This Celtic team is bang average.
25 Feb 2026 12:39:42
Rangers are 2 points ahead of this bang average Celtic team, Star. What does that make Rangers?
25 Feb 2026 12:46:22
Rangers were 2nd bottom under Martin. Rohl has gained something like 9/11 points on them. Soon it will be four defeats in a row for them.
25 Feb 2026 12:57:51
Wearerangers, you don't want to start 5/11 players that beat Celtic 3-1 in their own backyard?
I do appreciate your tactical insight, though, as a 4-2-3-2 formation should definitely give us a one man advantage over them. ππ Genius!

I made a mistake on how many players I picked, Tav. Round me up now. Tav, we beat a Wilfred Nancy side last time out. 1st half, we could easily have been 3 or 4 down to the worst Celtic manager of all time. I just don't get the overconfident side of some Rangers fans. We have just drawn with Livingston.
25 Feb 2026 13:19:50
Star, do you truly, honestly think we would've gained them points if O'Neill was in charge instead of Nancy?
25 Feb 2026 13:32:49
O'Neill is just about to lose four in a row, Wear, his team has been very fortunate at picking up wins. They were played off the park by Falkirk, lucky getting a draw against Dundee in the cup, injury-time winners against Livingston and Kilmarnock, and a defeat at home against Hibs. It looks like it's running out at the right time for us and Hearts.
25 Feb 2026 13:48:19
That wasn't what I asked, Star. Do you think Rangers would've picked up all them points if O'Neill was in charge instead of Nancy?
That was the question.
25 Feb 2026 13:52:33
Moore is more effective out wide on the left.
Never mind 12 players; you would play Miovski, who has fewer league goals than Chermiti. Also, we have a player out for 2-3 weeks, who is in all likelihood either Sterling or Antman, and you have picked both. That might be a couple of reasons why the 'favourites' are picked.
Also, not starting many players who played last time and won 3-1, whoever the manager was.
Rohl will also be more up to speed with playing Celtic, as it was his debut then.
Celtic took ET winners against Livingston and Kilmarnock only recently. We beat Killie 5-1 and were a decision away from doing the same at Livi; just since you are doing 'what ifs'.
By the way, we are 2 points ahead of Celtic, as we are bang average as well. But I support this bang average Rangers team. π€·
25 Feb 2026 13:55:10
Your guess is as good as mine, Wear. His fortune looks like it is running out at the correct time, though.
25 Feb 2026 14:04:24
Angus, 4 of them also started in the League Cup semi-final defeat to O'Neill's Celtic team. Let's not forget we lost to them, with Tav and Souttar making Jonny Kenny look like a superstar in that game.
25 Feb 2026 14:13:36
Wear, we played that game with ten men for over 60 minutes, and could have won that game. It has been a long, long time since Celtic won in game time against Rangers, nearly two years.
I said before the game at Celtic Park I hadn't been that confident of winning that game. I feel similar about the game on Sunday. Naderi and Chermiti will terrorise that back line.
25 Feb 2026 14:28:23
We will give up chances to them as well, with Tav and Souttar playing, Star.
25 Feb 2026 14:35:27
Let's wait on the game, Wear. I'm saying Rangers win by a couple, Chermiti double.
25 Feb 2026 14:38:27
For goodness sake, 4 months ago, Celtic managed to beat us in extra time, with an extra man advantage for pretty much 90 minutes of playing time. They couldn't do it in normal time, and it was a tough ask for 10 men to go and win the game, but they made a good go of it nonetheless, and had opportunities to win the game. Since you like using what ifs, it must be relevant.
Why can't people be confident going into Sunday? We've just beat the league leaders 4-2 at home, and our home record is pretty good at the moment. Celtic are off the back of two defeats. At this stage of the season, still in a title race, if you're not confident or going to back your team, what's the point? Nobody is saying we are world beaters, but people can be optimistic.
25 Feb 2026 14:57:06
Don't think I'm ever confident going into an Old Firm game, Tav. Will probably be taking up my usual position behind the sofa. π
25 Feb 2026 16:07:23
Would play that team, one Walter, but in the 4-2-2-2 formation with Dio beside Moore. Bring wingers on when the game is stretched. def go with two up top and get after them.
25 Feb 2026 16:23:01
Tav, I am like Kaiser, but the sofa will be in the other room with the door left open just a few inches.
However, hope we get in their faces early, as if we sit off them, they will look decent again.
Sure, Rohl will pick the team and tactics he thinks will win. Guaranteed, whatever his plans are, there will be fans who think he is wrong. Until we win, and everyone will agree. π
25 Feb 2026 16:40:32
I think we've made it this far, so why not be confident? That could all change in the first 10 minutes, of course.
25 Feb 2026 16:41:12
Bajrami on McGregor. He's snuffed him out previously.
25 Feb 2026 17:24:37
That's what I'd do for Walter. The key being Moore just in behind. With our full backs going forward also, we can cause them real trouble.
25 Feb 2026 18:26:38
If all fit.
Butland
Sterling
Souter
Fernandez
Rommens
Raskin
Chukki
Dio
Moore free role behind strikers
Nederi
Chermiti
If Sterling is not fit, how about Djiga at rb? That gives us more height and more pace than Tav offers.
26 Feb 2026 12:36:04
Angus beating Killie 5-1 at home, and Celtic struggling to beat them away, is completely irrelevant, and I am surprised you bring that up as you would use it against someone the other way. You also mention they beat Livi in extra time; we couldn't beat them, and they had 10 men. π€£ I also know one game was at home and the other away.
π
Silly fans can say they are bang average until they are blue in the face. We are bang average too, which people find hard to understand, and I have no idea why. They call them bang average as if it's a trophy. π€£ I don't know what goes on in small-minded heads, as that's what they are.
26 Feb 2026 15:54:56
Is that not just their opinion, Storm, and are they not entitled to it? What happened to different opinions and all that waffle, or does that not apply because it doesn't align with what you think, so you then call people small-minded. π
26 Feb 2026 20:41:34
Both teams are bang average. Saying one is and not the other is ludicrous, Tav.
That is my opinion. To say they are small-minded, or am I not allowed an opinion?. π¬
25 Feb 2026 10:02:01
We think our "ultras" are bad.
Or that the Old Firm game can be spicy.
Speaking to a guy on site yesterday who was at the Red Star v Partisan derby at the weekend.
He was showing me photos of the Partisan end which he was in ( some link between them and Hearts? ).
The away fans actually set the seats on fire! And I'm not talking 1 or 2 seats. Flames were about 6 feet in the air!
Absolutely mental.
Agree2
25 Feb 2026 14:59:14
Our "ultras" are mostly just annoying stupid kids. Some of the stuff that goes off in other countries is frightening. MPH.
24 Feb 2026 21:25:00
I know it's not Rangers related but what a result for bodo / glimt currently 1.0 away to inter and 4.1 aggregate. Asa this not your team mate?
Agree1
25 Feb 2026 00:51:00
Would absolutely love them to go on and win it. That's not a big ask considering what they've already done.
25 Feb 2026 06:15:34
Aphelion's team is Brann. It was not a bad game, tbh.
25 Feb 2026 07:54:41
Glasgow Bear, my team is SK Brann.
That being said, I am delighted with the results for Bodo and Kjetil.
I wonder when was the last time the superior club from the east of Glasgow had results like Bodo.
25 Feb 2026 08:05:52
Oooft, bit of ice π£ going on there. ππ€£π€£
25 Feb 2026 08:29:18
Aphe, good result, and hope for similar on Thursday for your lads; it shows it can be done, which will help with confidence.
Fork. ππ
25 Feb 2026 09:02:23
Thank you very much, my friend. We will need the Gods to favour us tomorrow.
We have exceeded expectations, so I want my guys to go out and enjoy themselves, and, with luck, we get a positive result.
Fork, just a bit of light-hearted fun, my friend; it has seemed very downcast this week.
25 Feb 2026 09:15:35
They did very well.
25 Feb 2026 09:19:14
Aye, it's been that. good luck on Thursday, it's doable. π π
25 Feb 2026 09:24:58
Thank you, Fork. We will certainly give it our best shot.
25 Feb 2026 09:49:09
Is that another joke, Aphelion?
25 Feb 2026 09:31:31
Always looking for a dig at Scots, Aphelion? Same every other European night. Sad, as people were praising your club.
25 Feb 2026 09:56:58
Not at all, Kaiser, a little joke about Celtic, not Scots.
25 Feb 2026 10:02:58
Aphelion, Celtic have reached the last 16 in the top tier of European football many times. Isn't that a Bodo first? Hopefully, that was a joke from you.
25 Feb 2026 10:08:21
Brann, that's it mate. Remember now, as a well played Bodo / Glimt fully deserved over competition.
25 Feb 2026 10:09:32
Looks like I'm the one who took the bait. π£ First, I'll say my post was hours ago, and, before Aph, u said it was a lighthearted joke, and I don't know why it didn't come through before. But, as u say, it's been too negative, and I couldn't be bothered waking to another day seeing the same arguments and fallouts rehashed time and again, and I saw yet another dig.
Perhaps I jumped the gun, but after the result I knew it was coming, as it's the same digs whether at Celtic or Scottish clubs, players, or the national team every other week.
25 Feb 2026 10:31:27
Get a grip, he's having a joke at Celtic's expense. It's why I backed it up with the ice fishing joke.
25 Feb 2026 10:48:45
Hopefully, Fork, he had a joke a couple of weeks ago. ππππ
25 Feb 2026 10:48:51
Celtic haven't won a knockout tie in Europe for 22 years and counting (unless they can overturn a 4-1 first leg defeat in Germany).
Aph's joke / dig at Celtic is very relevant.
Some people need to get over themselves.
25 Feb 2026 11:03:21
MPH, Haven't they reached Champions League top 16 in 22 years, like? Celtic is a bigger club in every department, my only point. Do you think he's joking enough, or do you believe he personally believes that?
25 Feb 2026 11:10:44
Fair enough. Is he having a laugh?
25 Feb 2026 11:29:29
I think Bodo would thrash Rangers or Celtic at present and in the future as well. They are a club on the up, up against 2 fallen giants.
25 Feb 2026 11:29:29
Aph has a dig at the east end mob and people on here defending Celtic!
25 Feb 2026 11:43:15
Present, yes, Wear, but we didn't know anything about them five years ago. Trying to compare Bodo with Celtic is silly, imo. Celtic have a superior fanbase, superior revenue, and the club is valued far higher, and they even have a squad valued far higher. Bodo has done extremely well in Europe the last few years, but they are playing on a similar park to Falkirk, and have roughly the same capacity as them.
Grass roots in Norway is clearly working, and the team is full of Norwegians. Dundee United and Aberdeen had great success for a good few years in Europe, but that didn't make them close to being superior to Rangers and Celtic.
25 Feb 2026 11:44:48
Apologies for taking things the wrong way, and John, I was not so much defending Celtic, but making a point about rehashing old arguments again. I probably should have left it alone. Sorry.
25 Feb 2026 11:49:23
They beat Inter Milan on a grass park last night. We might never beat Inter Milan in our history again.
25 Feb 2026 11:51:41
Not defending anyone, John, just telling it the way I see it.
25 Feb 2026 12:00:31
Celtic just about beat Bayern in Munich last season. Rangers played a European final four years ago.
25 Feb 2026 12:23:49
Four years ago, to use those words, did Celtic go through against Munich? Our form in the CL last time was the worst performance by any team in the CL. Rangers and Celtic are fallen giants who are going further away from top European sides.
25 Feb 2026 12:35:04
Can't you read, Wear? I said 'just about'.
25 Feb 2026 12:35:41
Only because of cash.
25 Feb 2026 16:26:05
Kaiser, in fairness, it didn't matter what you said or didn't say. The rod and bait was for someone else, and he took it like always.
Star, let it lie, mate, as it will never be resolved either way. And now you are just getting we are to have a go at you as well. π
25 Feb 2026 17:40:40
I think that was what I was trying to put across, Angus, and unfortunately it went exactly as I expected it to. Ah well, here's to tomorrow. π
26 Feb 2026 12:41:20
Only because of cash. Utter b***. Bodo have less cash than both of us, so it has absolutely nothing to do with cash. π€£ The fact you actually believe that is scary.
Bodo are better right now in Europe than any team in Scotland, that is a fact. You can't argue with it because it is a fact.
26 Feb 2026 12:49:50
Hey Stormtrooper, stop stealing my words.
Fact is my word. π
26 Feb 2026 17:24:44
I will let you use 'Jesus wept' once, since I stole the fact from you, mate. π€£
