anyone else heard we may try hijack loan move for Moore once he finishes pre season and gets a green light to leave, cologne still expecting to get him but who knows a loan would certainly save some money after the need for a striker now

I've said that's what would happen all along, but also heard there was an outside chance of a permanent move with an agreed buy back price. Not sure the latter is a goer but I'm certain we will make a move if we can.

For his age, I think he did more than ok from Christmas onwards. First half of the season was less than ok.
If he came back, he wouldn't need 6 months to adjust, and I think you would get a far better, far more mature player with a lot better numbers. If he hasn't gone anywhere by deadline day, I could see him signing, and I would be buzzing.
I understand people saying not worth the big loan fee, but I disagree. I think the squad lacks someone who will turn up against Celtic right now, not hanging my hat on Gassama, Aasgaard, etc. Moore proved he can rise to those occasions last season.

For me, absolutely Mikey Moore, mbking22. 🤔 He's a very talented young footballer, and the money we'd eventually make off him would be massive. 🤔 Plus we currently have a good few good midfielders, but no player near as good on our left hand side as Mikey Moore, so, as much as I rate and like Lewis Ferguson, it would be Mikey Moore for me.

Mbking, would love Ferguson, but if had a choice between both Moore and Ferguson it's very easily Micky Moore. Boy will be worth some coin very soon, see him being in the England squad before he's 23 years old.

Agreed Fork, I'm sure I read stats somewhere that Aasgaard's stats were better than Moore's.
Everyone has their opinion, but I'd rather invest in our own players than get minutes in the legs for other teams.

Have a feeling he may not go out on loan, he's now played in all but 1 pre-season match (played Hoffenheim twice in 2 days so only played in 1 of those). Scored a double in the match he played in against Hoffenheim and has impressed in the others, Spurs fans are calling for him to be kept in London and given a chance.
He may have forced his way into De Zerbi's plans.

I'd love to know why so many are wetting themselves for Moore to come back? Yes, he looked the part, but only sometimes. If we are being totally honest with ourselves, he was nowhere near as good as some make out on here. Great prospect, but we need more than that.

John, agree. Think of what we could get in for 20mil! I wouldn't pay anywhere near 20mil for either. We've just got Dragojevic for 4 plus mil, a guy who I believe has way more ability and promise than Ferguson ever had at 20yrs old. And for me Moore didn't show enough to suggest he'd be worth splashing out that sort of cash on.

Comparing Aasgaard and Moore due to his stats, you only need to open your eyes to see what a player Moore is, but some people would rather read it off a page. Yes, he needs to get more goals and assist, but he's easily double the footballer Aasgaard is.

No, he's not, loses possession and goes down blind alleys, passes when he shouldn't and doesn't when he should. Yes, he's done some gd things, but he's not all that. He's done ok, that's about it. Will he be good? Possibly, depends how he's developed, but he won't be back here.

Moore won't come back, but he is better than anything we have right now. A lot of fans clamoured for Curtis to come back because of a few good games for Killie, and he isn't good enough for us right now and needs another loan.
