seems like the other clubs have made no bid so we are well ahead, some have been monitoring Naderi and others are considering a bid, Danny's obviously got word they are prepared to sell and with all his contacts in germany is ready to pull the trigger on the boy.
if he is as good as his highlights suggest its a no brainer get the 5 mill cheque book oot and get it sorted.

We have also seen players in bundesliga 2 have great scoring records move up a division then not much else

I know a few Hibs fans and they laugh their backsides off about the prospect of getting that kind of money for Bowie. "Spends more time with his face on the grass than his feet do" is a quote. "Take £3m and run" is another.
The question I'd be asking is what standard is the German 3rd tier and are his previous injuries a risk.

I would go for Bowie, simply because I know what he can do in this league and I've never even seen the boy Naderi play. That, plus if they are of similar age and ability, Bowie is Scottish and that helps our European squad. I wouldn't pay £5million for either of them though.

Don't think 5mil for an unproven player is realistic at all! And I include Bowie as unproven! For me Bowie would need to bang in 20 plus in a season scoring all types of goals to be worth anywhere near 5mil! At this moment in time I'd say he's worth 2.5mil tops!

The reality is he went to the 3. liga for game time. He has 13 goal involvements in 17 games and averages 0.6 goals per 90. He hasn't played 17 set of 90 minutes.
We also don't know that he's a 3. liga player or just a player playing in 3. Liga who is above that standard. The fact his club wants a record fee for him and teams like RB Salzburg are interested tells me he is infact a better standard of player than 3rd tier.
We are sceptical because we don't know enough and without context make snappy decisions. I know heehaw about the player other than the data available and what you can see on YouTube so he might be absolute garbage but I'm going to trust Danny Rohl on this one as he has built up enough credit to be trusted.

I honestly do not see the fuss in Bowie and a lot of Hibs fans seem to agree. I don't think he's anywhere near as good as what people think. Naderi is a good player, a talent and has the potential to be really good, as a fan base we need to stop this "I'm not paying that for him" patter when you've never seen the guy play. E.g. - Chelsea's signed a 17 year old from Almaty for 4m.
RS Belgrade just sold 2/3 teenagers for 60 odd million. Almaty a team no one ever really heard of before this season, a team we all called amateurs for beating Celtic. Can't criticise Naderi when 99% of us haven't seen him play but scores, is said to be a future star by German fans and came from one of the strongest German development teams in Munchengladbach.
