Pleased to see we are hopefully getting these two players in Jan, seem promising players to add.
They should improve the squad, provide cover and good players to have for going forward with potential but do they improve the first team? Meghoma has been good at LB and CM we have been strong.

I'm hoping the OOC is Xavier Mbuyamba, I think he looks a real prospect. IF not would be happy with Watson as likewise. Given we had Dowell and MAtondo on the bench for the Aberdeen game I think it's clear we need bodies in, and it's important we get homegrown players in to supplement wider transfers.
As ever, the hard bit will be moving on those who are taking a wage but not contributing at the present. While Rothwell seems to be wanted, what about MAtondo, Dowell, Rice, Davies, Cifuentes, Cortes, King, McCausland (appreciate some are already out on loan)?

Just to clarify, Koppens Book isn't a little black book of players that Koppen himself has identified.
It's the list of players identified and profiled by the recruitment team using Koppens methods and the connections he put in place whilst at the club.

We looked at the lad playing in Austria before he went there and the ch, when clement was there.

Igamane, Jefte and Nsiala were all identified using the processes and connections that Koppen put in the place.
The same processes and connections that the current recruitment team are using.
The active of list of players at various stage of profiling and scouting on this list is in the hundreds - of the 5 players we are close to finalising, only 1 was brought to the table directly by Koppen.

Given ehl worked at the club and knows those involved i'd take it he knows more than most on the transfers. So koppen had a wee book with players only he knew of? Unlikely.

actually I think you are both right here possibly. Koppen has a process to identify talent we should be looking at. he used that process before to identify the guys we are signing this window but who we didn't sign when they were initially identified.
so those payers are on a list and not new to us.
that makes sense to me because if it is an actual list Koppen left then it is finite and we need to develop a different scouting model.
