As our very well appreciated John has already confirmed, Turgeman will be signed by next Friday.
This will be funded by Igamane moving to Feyenoord for their club record fee.
26 Jul 2025 14:54:23
Ac any idea how much of a fee?
26 Jul 2025 15:59:03
Read somewhere online that it's to exceed £15mill One Walter, that will include add ons but unsure as to the base fee mate.
26 Jul 2025 16:07:37
Very excited about this incoming lad. as usual john is ahead of the pack . much appreciated. he'll light up our league.
26 Jul 2025 16:12:34
Thats not saying much thier record fee is 10million euro.
26 Jul 2025 16:14:46
Think they've only paid up to £10m before. So hopefully they're blowing that out of the water.
26 Jul 2025 16:20:23
6mil for Turgeman and 13mil plus 2mil add ons and 20% sell on for Igamane.
26 Jul 2025 16:44:54
Ac I believe, turgeman fee u quote is with addons. Imo a good deal, figures are pounds.
26 Jul 2025 17:56:52
Thats an absolutely pathetic deal for igamane if true AC21. genuinely atrocious.
26 Jul 2025 18:46:39
A player who played for us for 6months and cost us 1.5mil, absolutely pathetic business. Glad your not on the board Salenko.
26 Jul 2025 19:14:45
Must be great to live in the high finance world that Salenko inhabits. Clearly has so much that a huge profit on a player in less than a year and the opportunity for additional benefit if he kicks on and is sold is not enough for him to bother with. What a guy.
26 Jul 2025 19:43:52
13m doesn't seem a lot for iga imo.
26 Jul 2025 19:49:22
Aye getting 10x our money on a player after 1 season really is atrocious. Wit planet do you live on mate?
26 Jul 2025 20:10:05
Salenko, in all honesty, what would you expect the transfer fee to be for Igamane? He was out the picture, had a few good months and then out of the team again. For someone who cost £1.5 million a year ago, I'd say that's a good deal.
26 Jul 2025 20:31:04
AC21 - Great bit of business IMO ?.
26 Jul 2025 20:49:15
Billy my value of iga is different to yours personally think if it's 13m it's too low if kuhn is worth 17m after 1 year I rate iga at least that.
26 Jul 2025 21:27:45
Pretty average piece of business for me. It should be an offer we cannot refuse and I don't think 13 Million is high enough for a player of his potential. I would much rather keep Igamane than have Turgeman. Both would be better but given a choice I'd keep him another year at that price.
Yeah he cost under 2 million but you have to invest way more than that overall to unearth a gem like him. How much investment has went into Matondo for instance. Need to maximize the best ones you find to make it worth it for the one's who don't work.
26 Jul 2025 21:57:59
The sell on % is key with Igamane. £13M with a 20% is excellent business.
26 Jul 2025 22:00:33
From my understanding the asking price for Iga is £15m prob €16m+ euros. There are a few interested parties and we expect our valuation to be met or he won't be sold.
The deal may involve sell on, performance related payments etc in addition.
Turgeman will cost £6m so that will be added to pool.
We had £20m pledged PLUS whatever we had already and whatever we raise through player sales and European money.
We have 3 or 4 ready to be brought in but the issue is getting players off the wage bill.
Coady will be purchased but is on the back burner while this qualifier is being played.
It's a case of Davies wage been offloaded for him to come in, £1.5m bid last week and signing accelerated from Thursday. If we go through or Davies leaves whatever happens 1st he will be a Rangers player. Wife issues are nothing to do with it he wants to come and has agreed package with club and the fee is close to Leicester valuation.
New manager took him with him as he didn't have a chance to discuss future until they were away. Coady has made it clear he wants to leave and Gaffa has asked compromised on giving him game time while he stays professional in the hope he could persuade him to stay but that ship has sailed.
This will be done sooner rather than later both player and Rangers have been frustrated with the hold up but expect this to be done.

Tommy, Matondo is a perfect example as it happens. sold by Man City u23s for 9M but never reached his potential. I bet Man City are happy they took the 9M now. so we take the 6x profit now or risk that he becomes the next Matondo. yes people will say that won't happen but the same conversation would have been had at Man City.
26 Jul 2025 22:12:45
Sounds like Leeds are about up spend the best part of £30m on Paixap from Feynoord, so they're cash rich. Hope we can get more than half of that from then, plus a sale %.
26 Jul 2025 23:26:10
Again 13million euros or 13million pounds big differnce.
26 Jul 2025 23:38:44
Angus aftet the scenario woth alfredo, Kent, kamara, BB and even aribo to an extent we must cash in on igamane now if we're offered £15m,
As u say he could have a bad injury or form. Apparently he's not happy and wants a live so let's get it done.
27 Jul 2025 00:32:57
No it isnt, 13m is atrocious. We got more for a boy with less potential that played 20 games.
once we live in a world where fans stop criminally undervaluing our players the better.
13m for one of our 3 top assets, don't make me laugh.
26 Jul 2025 23:02:22
Sorry onewalter my reply was implied at salenko, for calling the deal atrocious. I think the 15m we're asking for is more than fair, because people seem to be forgetting John said a few days ago that he was one of the players that wants a move. We're making more than 10m profit on a player after 1 year. We're in no position to turn our noses up at that, especially when everyone is asking non stop about what wingers we're buying, what strikers are we buying etc. We need to start selling if we want to start spending. And your comparison to Kuhn, he was a stand out for them last season, scoring in the champs league and finishing the season with nearly 40 goal contributions and he's been there longer so the turnover isn't as fast as it is with iga. We all know he blew hot and cold but you can't deny his stats, he put up good numbers and there was also a very willing buyer for him and he also has experience in the league he's moved back to. We can't really say the same about iga, he put up half the contributions and is still a raw talent that is a risk for the clubs interested. The same way he was for ourselves when we spent 1.5m on him last summer. That's why I hope it is feyenoord that is buying him because they have a better track record for selling their best players for good money. So making a few more million will be a lot more likely with them than a Lille team who held onto Jonathan David for way too long and he left for nothing.
27 Jul 2025 02:34:32
Salenko supreme - how are we criminally undervaluing him? If he sells for 15m that will be our second highest transfer ever. Ever. The boys played one season. Bassey went for that price because he was sensational on our way to a European final. Iga hasn't done anything close to that. The fact that some of our fans are scoffing at 15m is actually crazy man.
27 Jul 2025 09:30:54
We are a selling club and we should be maximising our players values who ever they are wouldn't be letting igmane go on the cheap thst boy still has 4 years left to play for us. who knows maybe another year with us could push his value up to £25-£30million.
27 Jul 2025 10:11:02
People need to remember the potential in the sell on fee on top of the 15m say he goes for 30m next time that would be another :m so 18m total.
If he went for 40m another 5m so that's 20m.
27 Jul 2025 10:27:50
Because time changes and so does the value of money.
they just got 17m for a worse player with less potential that had 3 good months in 18.
dont give me this "no reputation of selling at high prices" nonsense either, just an excuse for bad negotiations.
if igamane wants to leave he shouldn't have signed a 5 year deal.
27 Jul 2025 10:28:55
And what if he doesn't SGN? bassey didnt, aribo wont, kamara didnt. sell on fee is not a reason to accept below market value.
27 Jul 2025 10:34:47
£13m is chicken feed!
It's a terrible sum of money! It's desperate totally desperate if anyone sees this as good. Plus if 20% is correct that also completely sucks.
£20m gets you to the table. That's how it should be. If no-one wants it. He stays you make him better and sell later.
There's a problem if he wants to go now. That changes things.
27 Jul 2025 12:35:17
Gdog football transfers are worked in euros.
That's how u always see the decimals in English pounds.
If we get the money we're asking for it will amount to €15m amd the add ins would take it to €18-20m probably.
If we were to sell to epl we could probably get the 15 in pounds.
