What are you even talking about? Do you actually know what you're saying? Because I honestly don't.
I barely ever interact with the poster in question (Aph). I even told him weeks ago, openly on these pages, that I try to stay away from his posts because I don't like the stuff he puts up when everything is running smoothly, then suddenly drops all the crap he did the other day.
And I'll be absolutely blunt here I genuinely believe EHL left the site because he got fed up reading the same kind of posts over and over, constantly accusing folk of being this, that, and the other.
I don't like the guy and I rarely get involved in any of his posts, but when he comes onto the forum with that nonsense, I'll call it out the way I see it. I don't agree with accusing every other poster on here of anti-foreign rhetoric.
And to be honest, it also belittles the editors and people running the site if anyone seriously thinks they would allow genuinely xenophobic or anti-foreign behaviour to continue openly on the forum.
Is this why you really think Storm?

But let me make this very clear I'm not anti-foreign and I'm not a xenophobe.
So I think it's pretty safe to say I wasn't even one of the people he was calling out, because I've never posted anything that could reasonably be seen as xenophobic or anti-foreign.

I'm calling the post out because of the vindictiveness behind it — creating arguments over absolutely nothing.
The amount of arguments that one guy has caused in here has been outrageous.
Honestly, I've already said very clearly that I think he does it on purpose, 100%, while you and a few others keep falling for it.
It's blatantly obvious to quite a few of us that it's done purely to cause arguments and drama.

Florida Bear is a good poster and brings a lot of good information to the site.
Personally, I haven't seen any bigoted posts from him at any point I've been on here.
I also haven't seen people attacking Aphe simply because certain players haven't played well. Usually, the posts start with someone saying Olsen, or whoever, didn't play well, and then Aphe responds by saying it's anti-foreign rhetoric.
And on and on we go.
That's when the whole thing erupts, because people feel like they're not allowed to have an opinion on players they think haven't performed well for the club.
Anyway, I'm done with it anyway!

Also, a lot Storm says is true. It just seems a daily argument involving Aphe and other people wanting to have digs. It is definitely both ways, though sometimes I feel Aphe is instigating arguments as well as being antagonised himself.

It's a two way street and most can't admit it. Yes I like many posters on here, some I did but ignore now, I have and always will walk my own path. If I see something I don't like I call it out. I was accused of going soft a while back, that's not happening anymore.

If you look thru my entire post history, when anyone is being overly critical to any, and I mean any, given poster, I tend to comment on it. Just like u, when u get a bee in your bonnet, u never reply when I answer any of your posts. Been like that since I questioned you about something or other a gd while back.
But here's the thing, if you say u haven't seen perceived xenophobic or bigoted posts on here, you haven't been looking. After all, I know u aren't on as much now due to your health issues. Despite what u think, I hope you're well, but go and pull up others who have called out the behaviours u are saying are not visible. There are quite a few, but again, some choose not to see.

It pains me to say this, but unfortunately I can't see Fork's replies anymore.
After a very hard decision, I chose to use the ignore button on both Fork and Aph. That way, I don't have to keep reading the continuous argumentative posts started by one and backed up by the other.
I'm sorry, because I had a lot of time for Fork and we had plenty of good chats over the years on here. There's no malice, I just don't want to continue reading accusations being followed blindly.
By ignoring both of them, I'll no longer see their posts, and hopefully I can get back to simply debating Rangers, discussing the players I'd like to see come in, and talking about our way forward in the summer - whether that's under Rohl or whoever else ends up appointed!
For my part, I'm drawing a line under this now and won't be discussing Aph as a poster anymore.

But the focus on nationality of people is 100% xenophobic. Saying we need more Scots or that we need less foreigners is again xenophobic.
It may not be intentional, but it really does not matter one bit.
We are all individuals with our own personal strengths and weaknesses that have absolutely zero to do with where we were born.

Can I just ask why does it even matter who posters are on here? Like seriously, does it matter if Aph is a Brann board member, fan or just some random from Govan with an interest in Scandinavian football? Does it matter if I'm a mental health counsellor and actually from Ayrshire or that Murphy is actually my name? It's an anonymous site for folk to post opinions and rumours, not interrogate each other and play detective.
Nothing anyone posts on here is taken as gospel in my opinion, and if you do take it as gospel then that's your call. The reality is we're all going to have different opinions. Me on the outside looking in, I think too many have doubled down and nobody is willing to budge or see things from another perspective. That's for everyone. So maybe FB wasn't being xenophobic, but maybe he could have seen why folk would think that, and maybe others could have thought maybe that's not what he meant and approached it differently. All I'm seeing is a whole lot of defensiveness and going on the attack from all parties.

I don't get the only Brits get it call when most of our Brits have flopped, folk want Askou as manager who's not British. Maswanhise scoring for fun from Zimbabwe, our best striker has been a Portuguese boy and the POTY was a Portuguese boy from a 2nd tier Scandinavian league and folk wanted the Belgian Raskin to be our captain not too long ago. Celtic's best players the past few years have been Japanese, the German boy Kuhn went for a fortune, Danish O'Reilly a fortune, Portuguese Jota a fortune.
But I also think others can believe a British core will work without them necessarily being xenophobes even if I disagree. It comes down to communication at the end of the day and everyone including me could do better with that. Too many think their opinion is superior and go from reasonable debating to insulting.
