I'm sticking my neck on the line here. I hope tav finishes his career with us. I think we owe him that, not as first choice tho. yes he's getting on and may prefer a move away to play. he's stuck by us through thick and thin, not the best defender but hid goal scoring has been brilliant. Personaly I'd still make him captain and give him the armband if comes off the bench. Maybe 1 more season in him. He gets a lot of hatred buy guys been here what 10 years through thick and thin.

Football has no place for sentiment. The armband is an important thing, it shouldn't be passed around just because someone has stuck around. Also, by sticking around, he's made a very tidy nest egg for him and his family, which is fantastic. But the guy isn't up to it. He needs to be phased out quickly, his time has gone.

Anything good that has happened like winning the league, scottish cup and league cup as well as europa league run was a team effort though.

Agree with all you said Davie. Some fans forget some of the goals like last Saturday and in European nights. came to us when we were in very dark times and stuck around for nights like the Europa final. we should have won that. still p****s me off to this day.

Davie we owe him nothing. he's had 10 years at the club and has been well rewarded for that time and much of it he's been captain winning 3 trophies. He needs to move if he wants to continue playing we can't keep players on sentiment only on ability.

From being involved at the beginning of the rebuild in lower divisions to actually winning the league cements his legacy imo. would we have wanted more trophies? Absolutely, but maybe look at the past managers like beale, warburton, clement etc before digging at him. yes he's well off for life but so are so many others who went through the ranks . give him a chance to lift another league title whether on the bench or not. he deserves it.

He is the club captain whether he plays or not. Souttar it appears will be the team captain if Tvas isn't playing. kind of ironic really given that Souttar isn't very vocal which is what Tav is accused of lacking as well. hopefully Souttar can win more coin tosses than he loses and doesn't drop the pennant when handing it over in Europe ?.

Disagree deecee. Regardless of being here during the bad times he has won us next to nothing. We should have sold him after the euro final run when his stock was high. I don't want him anywer near starting at rb for Rangers or indeed anywer else on the park. Rw. Cb. Etc that some have suggested.

Said it before Tavernier can't be held sole responsible, he played for Celtic he'd have won all the trophies they have and would be hero worshipped getting over 120 goals from rb, not a chance does he get another contract though.

Contact one of my favourites, the first Alien and the prison planet one, loved Prometheus, Star wars, both trilogies big fan, Space odyssey OK but not so much, CEOTTK was same . Generally not genre specific though bud, like a good story, Sci fi u can add Inception and Interstellar?.

{Ed001's Note - I like some sci-fi films but it is martial arts films that I love. I mean I grew up with Star Wars and the original Transformers cartoons, so I love those, but not bothered by sci-fi as a genre. The Expanse series though was exceptional.}

{Ed001's Note - I didn't watch Kung Fu because Carradine wasn't a martial artist and so it was kack. I loved Monkey though! I used to have a huge collection of martial arts films on VHS. My ex's mother ended up living with us for a while, the father was an abusive drunk so she ran away and stayed with us as she was safe then. He had treated her so badly that her kidneys packed in and she spent about 4 months pretty much housebound. The only thing she had to do all day was watch my videos and she is now a massive martial arts fan as she watched thousands of them, bless her. Her favourite was China O'Brien, and I always enjoyed watching Cynthia Rothrock.}

Tony jaa - ong bak ?.
{Ed001's Note - that is one of my top films ever, along with Raid 1 & 2, Enter The Dragon. Warrior is good as well with Tom Hardy. I like the One Shot films with Scott Adkins too. Mark Dacascos is always worth watching too - brilliant in John Wick when he went all fan boy. If you have not seen Drive with him in, that is always worth a watch.}

Can't beat a good storied martial arts film, I even like Jet Li and Jackie Chan his comedic skills are great, liked Hero and think it was the Medallion.

Cynthia Rothrock was a real martial artist and has won many competitions and holds belts in various disciplines
think I enjoyed the Kung Fu story line when I was young along with Monkey Magic
Will need to look at drive can't remember if I've seen that or not.
Or Scott Adkin's I'm terrible with people names at times need to look at the movie to remember if I've seen them or not at times ?.
{Ed001's Note - she was world forms karate champion and unbeaten for 5 years straight. When she was first starting out in films, she used to take time out to go off to compete all the time as she had set out initially to do the 5 years straight and didn't want to give up in her final year. Brilliant martial artist and proper beast as well. She snapped her ACL while filming and carried on making the film anyway, just kicked with her other leg instead! She never got it fixed as the doctors said her hamstrings and muscles in her legs were so strong they had taken over the role of the ACL.
Scott Adkins is the one in the fat suit in John Wick 4. He is in loads of things - Triple Threat with Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Tiger Chen, Michael Jai White and Michael Bisping were all in that as well.
I can't believe I never mentioned Jet Li - I love Jet Li, one of my favourites.
Oh and have you seen the TV show The Brothers Sun? That is well worth a watch mate.}
