Tav and Goldson are not serial losers, in fact they have been extremely fortunate that they will retire millionaires and enjoy a standard of living that most fans can only dream of. Our club has given them their fortunes but in a 2 team league their trophy haul has been pathetic, even in the year we won the league, with Celtic in free fall we still couldn't win a cup. Tav should have gone at the start of the season so in spite of what Goldson says we have to move on and that includes not starting Tav.

If their trophy haul is pathetic then they are serial losers. The term is in reference to what they have won in the game not how much money they have made. Their huge salaries did not correlate with what they won. They under achieved and lacked a winning mentality. They are serial losers.

To be fair to tav and goldson there was always far worse than them in the team when we fell short. Particularly in Tav’s case up until this year.

Goldson was a good player, not the best but overall he was consistent and played a lot of games.
Tav has been an excellent player who has incredible numbers.
But both should never have been given their new, very good, contracts at that stage of thier career. I don't blame either of them for signing them, it was the same short term thinking for years, which we are paying the price for now.
I am glad we got big Connor of the wage bill in the summer and did not make the same mistakes with Lunny at al. I also think Tav would have been off in the summer if the club had got thier way.
When they are both gone, which will be Jan or the Summer most likely, I will thank both for thier time at the club and wish them all the best.
We all have an opinion on them as players but thier professionalism has always been very clear to me.

They have both represented our club on and off the pitch with a more than respectable level of professionalism.

Harry Kane is the definition of a serial loser lol. Lost CL final, lost two euros finals, lost WC semi final, won 0 at spurs (although wouldn’t hold that agaisnt him) and then went to Bayern and was part of team that won nothing for the first time In a decade.

What a lot of nonsense, how in a team game with 11 players and a squad of 24 or 25 can 2 players be singled out as serial losers while the rest of that squad aren't? In the 12 years since 2012's debacle tavernier and goldson were present when we won the 3 trophies that we have ( not counting the petrofac rubbish) so in that case they have won more in those 12 years than any other rangers player in that time yet its those 2 who are the serial losers? Gie's peace, if anything is a serial loser it's the club as a whole, not 2 individual players.

i hope these fans calling them serial losers are at the wind up. there has been many a player at rangers i was happy to see the back of but never in my life would call anyone a serial loser. a wee bit of respect guys.

tav is fast becoming old news as what happens to most athletes when they hit that point. a good manager knows how to deal with such a scenario much like ferguson did. clemont is just learning this for reasons unknown.
