Afternoon Bears. Well at least we are through to another cup final. I get the criticism of Tavernier on here but don't you think fans should show some restraint given what a loyal servant he has been. Sure, he is probably past his best but I don't think he deserves such nasty criticism. He has an amazing amount of goals for a full back and has been a good captain. One player can't be to blame for the team's poor form. Anyway, that's what I think.

DOIGER. the fans were restraint for a long time and are now totally fed up hence the amount of critisim.
If we want to move forward as a club then we cannot continue to play out of form players because they were good 2 or 3 season ago.
Tav now is just collecting a wage and costing the team on the pitch.

AllyMc62, we're all totally fed up but it doesn't or should i say shouldn't give some supporters the right to totally abuse players with personal stuff and it's especially aimed more at james tavernier ?I hate the way we're being run from top to bottom and the way our team is playing but i wouldn't stoop like some to the terrible abuse aimed at tav, it's absolutely shocking and ain't called for ?.

Storm he deserves supporters shouting they hope he dies and shouting obscenities about his family, get a grip storm ?Not to mention other personal abuse ? Mother nature has caught up with tav it happens but supporters take it to another extreme and way over the top, so no he most definitely doesn't deserve all that storm ?.

If Clement was a decent manager he would have taken Tav out the firing line a long time ago.
Tav deserves criticism but there is no need for personal abuse. Some fans don't know the difference.

No footballer deserves personal abuse directed at him or his family.
The manager should protect his players better, Tav has been struggling for form since the season started yet he’s first on the team sheet, to be fair there’s one or two others in the same boat.

Never heard anyone shouting they hope he dies or giving abuse to his family Sir Walter and anyone who does needs a kick to the baws but fans have a right to call out his form, his hero status left the building over a year ago and unfortunately he is becoming the villain and the more he is put in the firing line the more mistakes he’s making, a think using him sparingly is the best way forward at moment.

Lets hope tav don't play we need the best side out possible to stop celtic from over taking us on trophy count. But let's be honest its only a matter of time. They will at some point this season over take us on honours.

Would say a lot of the frustrations with Tav is aimed at the manager, he has to carry the can also for not having the cohonas to drop the captain. And he should have done.

There’s a simple answer to all this guys, don’t blame Tav, blame the manager that picks him! If players aren’t good enough that’s fine, but don’t abuse them, abuse the managers that picks and play them every week.

Coops where did I post it’s ok to abuse something saying I hope you die? I maybe should have chosen my words better he deserves every bit of criticism for his play at least since jan. I knew it would get toxic for him this season as the majority knew his time was up tho you didn’t which doesn’t surprise me at all.
I never once said it’s ok to abuse him like that. The more frightening point is he thinks he is playing well I couldn’t believe that came out his mouth especially when he is captain. It’s as bad as pc saying that the sheep game was one of our best performances of the season.
