No truth in the Lammers to Sunderland rumours.

Yilmaz arriving in Verona to sign for Hellas, obviously a chance to now bring in a starting LB which is good news.

Good Info as always mate have you heard who we are being in as a replacement? The boy obviously wants to go so good luck to him.

06 Jan 2024 07:59:32
Thanks for the update Copland. Do you have any idea roughly how much the fee is, and if Doig will be coming this way?

I would love Doig in our team, but I feel it would make more sense in signing Kai Wagner because he is free and spreading the money we receive for Ridvan on a striker (Shankland for example, and a RW) . Maybe allows us to bring in a couple on a pre contract early too.

3.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 08:10:08
What else do you know mate.

4.) 06 Jan 2024

Thank you copland! Looks like doig coming out way?

Always A + and negative in life. Still early in the window.

6.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 08:48:29
Honestly it makes a lot of sense to sell Ridvan now, as much as I think he's a decent player he's not Been available enough, hopefully it's a decent fee and we can now sign a new first team LB which we've been begging for last 2 years.

7.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:03:11
Are we making a profit on yilmaz?

8.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:04:41
Wagner on a par with pollster and Declan John.

9.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:23:41
Coupland info pretty solid so if yilmaz away, imo we try and get manhoeff as can play rw and lb, so we'd have him and silva added to euro squad and both can play several positions. Reports suggesting celtic not interested in McKenna, would he count as a homegrown player? . I personally would still try and get Shankland, I can understand the age and no sell on thing, but I believe he would score the goals we need.

10.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:33:29
It appears that Yilmaz has struggled to settle in Scotland, which is a shame as he seemed to be finding some form.

Guess that's always a risk when signing young players from abroad.

11.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:34:20
Prefer not to sign Wagner. German third tier player then played in Yankee land, no pedigree there.

12.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:36:45
CopelandFront5, great info. keep it coming. must admit the boy was starting to impress.

13.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:37:41
Shame about Lammers not going to Sunderland.

14.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:39:34
Thanks for the confirmation. Ties in with what I said last night. Yilmaz to Hellas Verona and Doig to us ????????.

15.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:41:01
Has anyone seen the young lad Brodie Spenser playing for Motherwell, he’s on loan from Huddersfield, he always gets high marks.

16.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:55:17
CoplandFront5,is ridvan yilmaz going to verona in a straight cash deal or is it possibly involving a swap deal with josh doig mate ? Again thanks for sharing your info mate, very much appreciate ???.

17.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 09:57:12
I’m told we still owe circa £2m in add ons to Besiktas and 20% sell on of any fee we receive. Currently Ridvan on £15k a week.

18.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:01:08
Are we expecting Doig to come to us as part of the deal?

19.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:05:37
If both clubs are genuinely interested in each others LBs then is there a swap happening which could (potentially depending on deal) cut out hibs and besiktas of any sell on?

20.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:10:20
I really hope you're wrong about Lammers. Wierdly I do think he has something in the locker, but at this stage I think he already needs a fresh start somewhere else (Holland might be best though) .

If Ridvan goes, any indication Doig will come the other way? At this point I'm getting less hopefull he will come to us, over say Torino, though I suppose that might leave more cash for other areas (Shankland!? )

21.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:19:04
Gaz people said that before you on here but copland makes no mention of doig coming this way so how does it tie in? I ain’t saying doig ain’t coming.

Lammers I get why would Beale come in for him after he knows 1st hand how bad he is.

John I hope we get someone better than Wagner then if that’s who he is on par with as that would be a massive downgrade.

22.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:28:09
We asked about Doig but I was told he was wanting to stay in Italy, He’s going to Torino according to DiMarzio who is probably the most reliable Italian journalist.

Might just be a lazy link RE Doig but Verona have already sold their current first choice LB so would imagine that’s who Yilmaz is replacing as opposed to Doig.

23.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:35:06
Doig is coming to Rangers as part of the deal ??.

24.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 10:35:11
Copeland- your info is always spot on, just like John 27. Keep it coming.

25.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 11:01:53
If this is correct that Yilmaz is leaving this window then we are going to need 2 new Left Backs as Borna has states that he wants to move closer to croatia so he could also be away this window as well.

I know we have Johnly Yfeko but i think he needs a season on loan at an SPL team to get the first team experiance to be ready for our first team.

26.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 11:20:56
Gaz copland has just said doig wants to stay I taky so it doesn’t tie in with your rumour.

27.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 11:24:25
John that is absolutely nonsense comparing Kai Wagner to Declan john and pollster. As someone who has spend time in the US over past few year this guy would be a great addition.

28.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 11:26:34
If bornabear is correct about money still owed to besiktas there's no chance Doig is coming as part of the deal imo. If its a straight sale i think its risky needing 2 left backs in january when you don't know if any will hit the ground running.

29.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 11:39:13
No need to go at people storm. Maybe both are correct and Doig was supposed to be part of the deal but decided he wanted to stay in Italy so now he’s not?

30.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 12:13:09
Another possibility is Doig has already agreed a deal with another club and they are using some of that money to buy Yilmaz who has been superb the last 2 games, young lad was outstanding in the last game.
Might as well let another team realise his true potential.
with Borna going too either this window for some money or for free end of season, we will now need 2 quality LB's great move if we sell Yilmaz now while in the last 16 of Europa, lad had a good game against Napoli pretty much the only player capable of hurting there team, even with all there quality players he still gave them a handful on his side, not to mention his inch perfect pass onto Arfields head for the goal.
Manhoef at LB would be a waste of talent the guy is an out and out goal scoring winger.
I reckon PC is well aware of Yilmazs potential and will not sell him unless its a silly offer.
Borna must be the priority to replace well before Yilmaz who still has 3 years left on his contract.

31.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 12:15:46
The Daily Rebel have just posted almost word for word Coplands post. They are truly embarrassing as journalists!

32.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 12:16:46
Kai Wagner seems like the best option just now considering he is free and in his prime.
Attacking LB with solid goal contributions.

Matt polster or Declan John lol both rubbish, are nowhere near the level Wagner is at.

33.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 12:17:57
If we still owe 2mill for ridvan, then talk of a swap is nonsense imo.
Bring on the unknown, not getting a game, injury carrying loans.
#worried. com.

34.) 06 Jan 2024
06 jan 2024 12:35:26
nothing new about that mate, i always believed yilmaz would be away in january. someone has to be lined up, if not doig then the manager must have an alternative.

35.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 12:40:23
John227/ Copeland - Do you have any details on potential left backs coming in?
I wouldn’t like to be relying on a player like Wagner.
Doig is playing today and has been heavily linked with Torino.
The lad Smal from Holland looks decent / Any interest in him?

36.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 13:19:30
Will I’m so sorry for having an opinIon.

37.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 13:19:47
David I am not having a go am just giving my opinion that’s what this site is all about. I don’t believe a word he says. He is coming out with 3 million we have to spend etc…. I just don’t believe him.

38.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 13:58:10
Your allowed your opinion like u have stated many times on here but to be throwing statements like that about is madness when u possibly know very very little about the player. An to compare them to they previous players is very unfair.

39.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:02:32
People jumping saying great info it’s only great info if it happens

But to be fair Copland usually bang on probably the most reliable poster here

I can see the logic behind selling yilmaz even if I don’t agree with it he’s not in the euro squad so it’s one less move there, he’s been injured a lot already and maybe don’t want to risk on someone who has not been available that much.

I’d be looking to add a

Left back new starter
A centre forward with good goals record
And a new centre back as Davies souttar not good enough balogun and goldson getting on in years.

40.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:04:38
Rangers have paid the three million due on yilmaz, there was approximately two million in add on, none of which have been achieved.

41.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:11:26
Was Declan John rubbish when gett Caps for a good wales team will 87, tell me where in my post I rubbish any of the three players in this discussion.

42.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:11:47
That’s good news John then? Makes it easier to sell him on and not take too big a hit. Hopefully as he’s still young we put a sell on clause in there too.

43.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:12:18
Oh will, everyone compares players to past including u.

44.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 14:43:49
Yes John, the £2m in odds on still owed, but not achieved yet. So anything above £3m will get our money back minus 20% sell on to Besiktas.

45.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 15:12:17
Rangers Review did a piece on Fredrik Oppegard earlier this week.
Fallen down the pecking order at PSV but that's no shame.
Doesn't look half bad, what we can find on him, if available.

46.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 17:43:37
I see a lot of talk regarding LB options and although I admit I know little of how good some of the names are as I don't watch them week in week out but I'd give young Devine a chance at LB because he is never moving Tav. Just saying give our youth a chance 1st before signing foreign youth players.

47.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 18:42:26
Yilmaz definitely going. Another terrible bit of biz from us! Firstly buying him, then flogging probs for scraps.

We are terrible at transfers! Terrible!

48.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 19:29:40
McMillst I actually forgot about Devine there and to be fair he never let us down when he played .

At very least we should be sending him on loan to play regular football.

49.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 19:44:54
John it’s difficult to interpret your comment on Declan John and Pollstar as anything other than a negative comparison.

50.) 06 Jan 2024
06 Jan 2024 22:48:46
Agreed.

51.) 07 Jan 2024
07 Jan 2024 11:16:38
Don’t agree Yilmaz was starting to impress, been here for 18 months and jury is still out, lucky if I’ve saw him play well more than 3 or 4 times in that period, Barisic still is in front of him and we paid 5 million for Yilmaz, believe it’s a good move if we get a decent fee for Yilmaz and bring another left back in.
