Got 3 strikers on shortlist. 2 permanant and trying to get 1 on loan with option to buy.
1 English based on a permanent, 1 Scandinavian permanant and 1 from America loan to buy.
Hearing ÂŖ6m, ÂŖ4m and loan to buy for ÂŖ9m.
Will be in tabloids Monday, shoot me down if you want just passing on what I've heard.

Maybe One on a permanent from England? He's been linked before. I'm sure there's been some African strikers playing in Scandinavia linked before too, but I can't remember names.

Archer will be the English based one probably, Scandinavian would be Moukoko, I guess, as he was previously linked & no idea who the American based one is considering we've been told Kelsy isn't for sale & he doesn't want to move either.

The profile of the striker we hopefully sign has to be of a very similar style to Chermiti and McInnes himself has stated this. đ¤ I think big Kevin Kelsy looks the part and I would love us to sign him, but it's going to be extremely difficult to sign him unfortunately. âšī¸

No worries Fifty, thanks for the info. Obviously the club have kept everything close to their chest and we'll find out sooner or later. Just hope the club are not held to ransom because other clubs think we're desperate.

Fifty 6, I hope you're right, but I can't see the owners trusting dumb n dumber with 10 million quid, as the players in question will be on their recommendation, especially with rumors flying around about them being fired.

That would surely mean we are shifting Miovski and possibly Naderi? I hope it means attackers rather than strikers too. We can play with 6 strikers and it won't make a difference if we don't have anyone in behind them to create a chance.

Interesting to see who it could be. I saw the AEK fans are gutted Penrice has left which is a positive for us. I also wonder and hope that the forward players aren't just strikers. We need wingers and depth there too. Can't help but feel we still need another CB.

Really not sure why we are wanting another forward similar in style to Chermti. Naderi is already similar to Chermiti (albeit playing crap right now, I do still think there is a player in him, just one totally bereft of confidence, much like 99% of our squad).
Shankland also isn't that different in terms of also being more of a 'target man' type.
To me, what we are really missing is anyone upfront with pace. A smaller tricky player who can get in behind a defence or play off the shoulder of a bigger forward. Why on earth aren't we looking for that?!?
(Also that just means that when Chermiti does return we will have at least 3 / 4 forwards who all play in a similar way. đ¤ˇ).

Naderi is nothing like Chermiti imo. We need a striker because Chermiti is out for at least the rest of the season.
We need creative players, wingers and midfielders, and we need pace in our team.

We need a striker who's at home in between the sticks and stays in the box. Too many of our strikers in the recent past are dropping deep and drifting wide - that's not their job.

Not had a decent striker in a long time.
Morelos had peak and d definitely was at the end of his powers, but other than those two I can't think of any actually good strikers.
Igamane had potential, and Martin chased him out the club.
