Very impressed what i've just heard, Rangers are going above and beyond for Dahl.
If the boy goes elsewhere then it is what it is. However no one can day Rangers didn't do there all to get him.

The lad has said he's keen to come to us and we're his preferred destination so if we've met Tromso's valuation then we are in the driving seat. Give him decent personal terms and there's no reason why we can't get this one over the line fairly quickly. Not everything's that simple though lol.

Hearing the same info. JHD deal nearly done. Player impressed hugely by the Rangers contingency - not the first to have been wooed either.
That's two to be announced over coming days. Next focus will be towards defensive options as well as at least one, potentially two, wide attacking options.

JHD and Vanja being announced within a couple of days of each other would be some statement. Midfield would be set with Neil/Vanja/JHD having Devlin/Asgaard/Cameron? in reserve, maybe.
Another centre back surely the focus, especially with talks of Souttar going, as that really only leaves us with Godfrey/Manny/Nsiala as true cb's.

I will give you a starter, using a private jet to go meet them is a pretty big deal. It shows how committed they are and how they value the player.

Making a player feel special and wanted is going above & beyond. Prime example was Scott Brown and why he chose them. Have to say, be delighted to get both midfield targets over the line. Good age, and already both with plenty of quality game time under the belt.
And, for my 2p worth, I'd say the above and beyond is going to meet the club & player to impress on all how keen we are to have him (in case of JHD).

After looking at Vanjic (I know it's YouTube) the kid looks dynamic, good range of passing. Strong and reads the game quickly.

I would suggest the Andy Newport article is pish. No new facts and some assumption. It states Rangers' first bid of £5.3m was rejected. Cardiff then placed a £5.5m bid. That was rejected. And Cardiff are 'expected' to bid again. 'Cardiff hope to lure Dahl with potential Premier League action should they win promotion.' After just coming up from League 1.
Also stating the Rangers hierarchy are all still out in Spain. I hope they remembered to lock the doors and put the alarm on if there's no-one left holding the fort. Utter nonsense.
