Just seen on X that Porto, PSV and Galatasaray are interested in Chermiti. Personally any more than £25m and we should sell.

07 Jun 2026 20:50:51
I duno, I'd be tempted to keep him one more season, he'll score more with Shankland supporting him and we could smash the Scottish transfer record!

07 Jun 2026 20:55:33
Whilst I don't want him to go, I think you're right.
The club apparently want a Scottish transfer fee for Chermiti (according to media), but a £15m-£17m profit after 1 season would be superb business.

Obviously, Everton will have a sell-on as well, but you couldn't argue with getting a fee that size. I think the boy is a real player and has all of the attributes to be a very, very good footballer at a top club.

07 Jun 2026 20:59:26
Or, we could actually just keep our best players and try and win the league? Smashing transfer records isn't a prize I care for. I love the boy and cannot believe any fans would support a sale. At any price. Unlimited potential and all he needs is a full season and some better support players.

07 Jun 2026 21:11:29
That boy's a raw diamond if he has a good first half of the season and makes it into the Portugal squad. Come January, we will see the Scottish record broken. I've no doubt the fans need to get behind him. He comes across as a confidence player, and he's still young, let's not forget.

07 Jun 2026 21:11:49
If we get offered 25m for Chermiti, I think we sell, and we invest the money in a few players. As with Shanland up from, I think Nadire could pair with him and become a gem like Shankland did for Braga.

07 Jun 2026 21:12:24
I don't want to sell him, but if we are offered 25m, we have to sell, sadly.

08 Jun 2026 02:34:25
I would buy Braga.

08 Jun 2026 06:28:09
We all know, guys, that money talks and there's no doubt we'd sell Chermiti if our valuation is met. ? I think the vast majority of us want him to stay for at least one more season, but money offered will dictate that. ?

08 Jun 2026 06:52:15
Most thought he was going to be a disaster, and to his credit he's knuckled down and shown he can be a good asset. I would actually like to see him get another season with us full of confidence, but if we are getting anywhere near 25 million then we must learn from past mistakes and cash in and add more depth and quality to the squad that money could bring in a right few cracking players.

We need to learn from past mistakes, and right now adding better players throughout the team is saying is more important, ie a speedy centre half, a quality right back and a creative midfielder.

08 Jun 2026 07:07:06
If we got 40 approx for Chermiti and Raskin that's huge and could really help us strengthen the team - would rather both stayed but every player will have their price. ??

08 Jun 2026 08:38:20
I'm not sure that would tempt Rangers due to the sell-on clause. I think it would need to be higher than £25m.

08 Jun 2026 09:02:18
All efforts should be made for Chermiti staying another year, sell him after we win the league.

08 Jun 2026 09:42:14
Very rarely does a transfer fee get used 100% for new signings. Apart from that, it would be unusual to get 25M upfront if indeed he was sold for that. I think 50% of any sale value might be re-invested in the squad. Remember, that's the theory: buy when low, sell when high.

08 Jun 2026 11:07:44
I don't believe Chermiti wins us the league; nor do I believe his value increases much above current figures being quoted whilst in SPFL. Sell, cash in, move on.

08 Jun 2026 11:39:02
Awg, so let's just sell our best player that will help us win the league, eh, Chermiti has only kicked off his career, he is only going to improve, which means his fee is only going one way, plus the fact a player with Chermiti's ability ain't coming to Scotland.

07 Jun 2026 23:57:56
Be happy to get £25m with 5 in add ons. I'd want guaranteed 25 though, as will be in euros, so maybe about 21m. I'd ask a 10% sell on too.

08 Jun 2026 12:10:39
Would like to keep him, if we get £25m, however, we probably need to sell. Be difficult to command more than that even if he had a good second season.

08 Jun 2026 12:32:36
Sell sell sell!!

What happens if he breaks his leg in the first game of the season?

Are we forgetting how gash he was last season, other than a couple goals against Celtic and then a few goals at the end of the season when it didn't matter?

Maybe I'm being too harsh or just remembering how depressing last season was.

08 Jun 2026 13:00:36
Chermiti's value isn't going much higher in Scotland and he won't win us the league. Sorry. Yes he'd contribute, but he also went missing a lot in games. 20-25m could do a lot for us building a squad, cause FFP will become a factor, so I'd sell Chermiti, Raskin and Dio, and use the money to build a squad that will win the league and beyond.

How many times have we made the mistake not selling players like Morelos etc?

08 Jun 2026 13:10:16
No rush to sell him, big man will score more goals next season, would be happy to go with Chermiti, Shankland and Naderi next season and let Mioviski leave although he would score goals also, Curtis can be an option as forward, if we get stupid money then fair enough we reinvest.

08 Jun 2026 15:41:51
Chermiti would be good nowhere for me. Why sell our best players? Cool, selling 1, can't sell the best 2. Chermiti will score over 20 next season. Never started scoring until the second half of the season. Chermiti and Shankland, we should be looking for 40 goals.

08 Jun 2026 15:55:23
Going.
