Jasper, what do you expect us to do? It's the January window. There is no club out there who will be willing to let their players go and leave themselves short, the majority of players who may be worth trying to sign will likely be in the situation where their club won't let them go unless they have someone to replace them.
That's why all managers say the January window is so difficult to do business in. If we only tried to sign players other clubs were desperate to sell, it'll probably be because they are terrible ?.

Don't worry too much Forever. The 'end of the transfer window' has not been blown. Wait to see what happens, there's still time and hope. A new striker would be appreciated however. We have done reasonably well thus far. Keep believing! Remember we arra people.

Jasper, nearly every club rely on other clubs movements especially in January windows, one transfer can have a domino effect to another fifty transfers, if the big boys splash a lot of cash that usually means a busy window further down the pyramid.

We made good buys at start of window and seen how the rest plays out, looks like we're getting the Striker DH wants and maybe a sneaky other alongside a pre-contract for the summer. i'd say its not bad business.

Jasper, that's how transfers work. As an example, the team looking to take Danilo, do you think their fans are saying it's a disgrace that we're waiting to see what other teams do to get Danilo in, just because we won't do the deal until we get a replacement in? Most team's are the same, they won't sell without a replacement being sorted.
