A friend of mine was telling me the deal for Dan Neil was credible but he also thought we had interest in Mundle too but that seems to have changed or perhaps wasn't as concrete as he thought

I just can't believe that we have sent any competent reputable scout to a Motherwell game to watch Watt and he hasn't at least reported back on Maswanhise.
Oh and re CF5 and rumours I can understand why posters are commenting. My memory was the takeover will never happen and Gerrard will be coming 100% to Rangers. the thing about posting rumours isn't that you will get things wrong as everyone will but that with every one you do get wrong you become a less reliable source.
so before everyone who defends the itk start this is the way of the world with everything. try once or a few times and if it isn't right stop buying or using. this isn't any different.

Does seem strange that you'd only watch one player and not have a look at others around as Motherwell have a few right now.
Maswanhise is one of those who's doing week after week right now, been at Motherwell 2 seasons and has improved, international for Zimbabwe, 15 goals this season in 27 appearances and someone we'd double/triple the money on. Watt I don't think is that great or a position we need atm (need a aggressive ball winner), he's had a decent 6 months here but been league 1/2 in England most of his career and Burton let him leave for free after 1 season. There's better DMs and CMs out there.

I always look forward to Copeland's input on the site, found his posts mainly accurate through my time here, I hope you are wrong this time tho copeland and we do have an interest in maswanhise and snap him up before Celtic do, if we could get the likes of Matondo and Danilo off wage bill and bring in him I think that would be a great bit of business.

I agree with a few here that if we aren't looking at or keeping tabs on Maswanhise then we clearly haven't learned from numerous past mistakes and ignoring talent/potential right under our noses. he's doing well in our league wudnt need time to settle scoring goals but winning most potential player at AFCON will have added to his value whilst i'd love us to sign him i wudnt be paying crazy money just incase this is just a good phase he's going through.

I would hazard a guess that Rangers know absolutely who Maswanhise is and what he can do.
A present they have chosen not to act.
I think people are thinking we haven't looked at him.
As I suggested above I would think Rangers will have a report of some kind on him but at present are not interested.

You're right, of course, Rangers do know about the Motherwell lad and so far have chosen not to act. He seems to be the new name grasped by the hysterical loyal, just like many others in the past were.
