Naderi is meant to be running and pulling defenders around. Where are the midfield runs beyond him? Where is the threat and service from the wide attackers? We have lacked an attacking threat since the season began. As I write this, we have scored zero goals from open play.
When we reached that UEFA final, Kenny Miller was basically given the task of chasing long balls and lost causes for 90mins. We need someone who is willing to run the channels, come deep, and press the opposition defense, etc.

This isn't anywhere near good enough. McInnes needs to win a game of football. He needs to create a team capable of scoring from open play. He will be out of a job in a few weeks if this continues.
It's not just that the new signings are playing poorly. Some of these guys are regressing.
We were told McInnes would get 110% from these players every game because he was a Scottish Rangers man who "gets it". That isn't happening. He's not a very good coach either in terms of playstyle or delivering silverware. This doesn't look good.

This is the worst Rangers team since we promoted back into the top division. McInnes isn't the answer either. He overachieved with Hearts last season, and managed to get the manager's job at our club.
Shankland looks 5 yards off the pace, Naderi simply isn't good enough.
McCrorie wasn't good enough 5 years ago, and nothing has changed.
Long post, and more of a rant than anything, but I'm honestly snapped at what I just watched.

I stand corrected, we've scored one goal from open play in 360 minutes of football. This isn't good enough. The recruitment, the formation, the manager's ability to get something from these players, etc.
Rangers should put the breaks on now, because it's getting worse, not better.
Just start sacking the recruitment team - All of them. £50m has been wasted in 12 months. We've lost better players than we've bought. If Dessers and Tavernier were still Rangers players, they would be starting every game.

I have to put this down to recruitment, and it's ever since the summer after we won the league. Whatever goes on inside Ibrox clearly doesn't work well enough. Even the wee gems like Igamane weren't good enough to win us the league, because they were surrounded by bang average players.
Liked Drago, I have to say, think he's a gem, but again he's surrounded by average.

Coop11, McInnes is to blame, recruitment don't pick the tactics or make the subs. Rohl got a tune out of them & we actually attacked, played with pace. People said McInnes will make players better & get them firing, but if you're honest with yourself, he hasn't made them better, he's made them worse.

100% true. RWC, this time last year I was at the Victoria Plezn game, and Dessers is so much better than Naderi and Shankland, it is untrue. Neil really is another Rothwell, and is Drago really any better than Diomande? Is McCrorie or Sterling as good as Tav? Gassam a doesn't look like he wants to be there, and so much for Aasgaard being a key player.

So where do we go from here? I hate what has happened to our club. We were meant to become a powerhouse again, instead we've become a laughing stock. No direction, clueless, leaderless. Half these lads look like they have never played football before.
At this rate I'd rather we just put a youth squad out, at least we would see some energy, maybe even some pressing, which would be a nice change. Unless we get 4-5 quality experienced players in the door, we will really struggle & McInnes will be gone by September.
