What's your predictions as to how Scotland will do in the WC.

Gazza, I think Scotland will beat Haiti, but it's going to be very difficult to get anything at all from both Morocco and Brazil, although Brazil not the team they were previously ? However, I wouldn't completely rule them out of getting something against Morocco and being the first Scottish team in history to make it through the group stages, although like I said it's going to be mightly difficult.

I think Haiti will catch us cold and take a point. If we were to win and finish 3rd, I don't think we'll score enough goals to progress as best 3rd placed team.

I think we'll win the opener, but I just worry we set up to not lose the second 2 games rather than have a wee go. 3 points should be enough to get through, but we are Scotland.

I have to say I'm very optimistic. Think we should beat Haiti & maybe a point off of Brazil, who I think are vrry poor now compared to prev squads. Morocco are the ones that bother me, but can't see any reason why we couldn't get the 3rd place at a minimum. Anything after that would be a very welcome bonus.

I think our cup final is the opener against Haiti, and we should really not look too far ahead of that one. If we can nick it, we will be in with a decent shout of breaking out of the group.

Overheard a prediction while out the other day.
This boy must've been a glass half empty critter.
Scotland will score 1 goal at the tournament in a 1-1 draw with Haiti.
We'd get beat 3-0 by Morocco & 2-0 by Brazil.
Didn't hang around to hear the rest of his views.

Not confident at all. To be honest, I'm not getting excited at all about this WC. Maybe because it's in the States and times etc are rubbish, but can't see me even watching many of the games.

The cynic in me says Haiti (think Iran), Morocco (think Peru), Brazil, usual result v them, i.e. valiant defeat, & finally to miss out on next round on goal difference.
Anyone read this story before?

Wouldn't be surprised if Scotland lose to Haiti then take 4 points from Morocco / Brazil and scrape through the hard way. Especially if Brazil are on 6 points after two games.
I think the most expected outcome would be to beat Haiti, draw with Morocco and then lose to Brazil - which is why I doubt that to happen!
It is Scotland after all!

I think with Shankland on form, Curtis and Doak on the wing, we will score goals, but I don't think we will keep them out the other end. Hope I'm wrong. ?

I'm with Storm, can see Morocco getting top, and horrible feeling we will draw with Haiti and be one of the very few teams to fail to make it through. Wasn't that long ago in international terms that we were branded the joint worst team at the Euros Poland/Scotland.

I reckon we will get humiliated by Haiti, a scrappy draw v Morocco, which will leave us needing a victory against Brazil. It'll be a case of so near yet so far for Scotland. Ending in glorious failure!

I'm always hopeful, and then they let you down. Glorious failure. Again, I'm hopeful and prepared for 4am tears. However, I think we are prepared and ready. Shankland happy as Larry, and you never know. Haiti fully believe three points against Scotland. We believe it's our best chance, so it's going to be tasty. I'm hopeful but.

I think we comfortably beat Haiti, them getting a good win against NZ should focus us. Narrow defeat against Morocco, then a lucky draw against a Brazil side that may be through already.

I think we can beat Haiti. i'm being optimistic. 3 points should be enough as there will be a few groups where the 3rd placed teams only have 1 point but avoiding a hammering against Brazil or Morocco should see us through.
Read an interesting article here from a guy who is weirdly accurate with World Cup predictions.
Could be Scotland, South Korea in knockouts and if we got through that then maybe England.
Knowing us we probably get pumped by Haiti then WC is over after 1 game
