Now onto who should be the next club captain. Now I'm going to put it out and say Connor Barron. I think he will be with us for years and normaly very tidy on the ball just not sure he's got the temperament for it.

Connor Barron, who was going to drive us to the title after his return from injury but can't even get a game currently as he's 3rd choice behind Raskin & Chukwuani (4th choice if you include Lundstram ?).
I would have Raskin in a heartbeat as Captain.

As much as I like Barron, he should be left to make the team 1st. Unfortunately, we don't have any with captain material, so hope u are right, Aphelion. Have an annoying feeling it will be one of Raskin, Butland or Souttar tho.

I like Barron as a squad player. If he plays to a high, consistent level, he could start, but not captain for me.

Think it would be a mistake, personally, signing a captain aphe. So, one coming in totally blind. Think it needs to be a player already at the club imo.

Would normally agree, Paul, but what if those at the club have already proved they're not up to the job? We've had poor captaincy and leadership groups for years now. Honestly, don't see a good captain anywhere in our team.
