I do think the essence of your last post to be a very valid one and I think I am going to take your inspiration.
I don't really bring anything to the forum other than divisiveness.
And Rangers do not need more divisions in the support and the Edd's don't need more arguments and divisions on the site.
I think it may be time for me to refocus and talk solely about my club.
The site is a little more agreeable when I don't give my opinions on Rangers.
I have felt that I have built many bridges with posters none more so than JFM and Steviegnew.
Truth is there are so many great posters, great gentlemen.
I don't want to waste anymore of the Edd's time with posts about my own club and nation but I am also acutely aware that my posts on Rangers cause division to that I apologise unreservedly.
I hope Danny and the boys can win this league and bring the feel good factor back. And Edd's I hope Liverpool can reignite there challenge in Europe and at home.

I don't see division, argumentative etc. from anyone.
I see healthy debate from knowledgeable posters with differing opinions.
I personally don't really care how some see me, as I don't know them.
I don't post to be loved. I share an opinion which, rightly or wrongly, is my thoughts at the time.
And the same debates I have on here, I have with mates, work colleagues, etc.

I for one disagree with quite a number of the things you post, Aph, but that doesn't mean I don't value your opinion.
TBH, I disagree with a lot of the stuff I read on here, but let's not forget we are also here to educate each other on the opinions of all Rangers fans.
On this note, I hope you keep posting. I find your posts interesting, unique, and original. I honestly don't believe for one minute we will all stop being divisive if you stop posting. But, whatever path you take, good luck, and hopefully we will hear from you sooner rather than later.

Firstly, I haven't disagreed with you yet, let alone conversed with you. You seem to be latching on to Star, who, in fairness, has a name-changing stalker who displays a similar approach to yours.

Fork, it was me who thought We are Rangers was the next manifestation of Marko84 (a play on Celtic's first sponsorship in that year). We are Rangers then appears immediately after that, and the first thing he does is attach his different opinion to Star.
If he isn't Coldo, then we will know, as he will stay and continue to play an active part, which I hope he does. BlueDNA was the other, and I hadn't seen his post, so I thought you were suggesting I had been drinking, which I hadn't at that point.

Aphe, I hope you change your mind and post again soon. If it helps, I can be even more argumentative (yes it is possible) and deflect more attention from you. Eds are football fans, and will know how every set of fans are passionate about their club. If anyone steps out of line, then they will hold them to account.
So, you know, your talk about Brann and Norwegian football used to annoy me a little, but more recently I have tried to engage with it more and actually enjoy it now.
Like MPH says, post your opinion; let others disagree and continue that healthy debate.
Just hope that you and JFM are back on soon, as the more variety of opinions we have the healthier the debate is.

Wow, so I've only really been popping into live chats lately due to IRL stuff and not been able to get on as much.
Seriously though, guys, some of you really need to stop and think "am I really cut out to post on here?" This is the internet, and with that comes trolls, differing opinions, and people who just want to argue for the sake of it, as anonymity encourages said behaviour!
I encourage all members to post whatever they want regarding all things Rangers, whether past or present, but just be prepared that not everyone will agree, and that's okay.
Aph, I have always enjoyed reading your take on players, and you offer a different view to myself and many others on here, but seriously, just get thicker skin and don't be so sensitive to people who don't agree. We are meant to be adults and not bickering school children!

When you first came on, Aph, you were seen more as a visitor to the site and were treated a wee bit differently as a result.
But at some point you definitely became one of us, and at that point I believe the tone did change. I had a wee chuckle to myself when I realised you were now "one of us", as getting pelters on here is like a rite of passage.
We all have our ups and downs, not to forget our spectacular hissy fits, but all the guys on here add to debate in their own way.
It would not be worth coming here without all the posters.
The site has been a catharsis for a lot of us during a really difficult period being a Ger, and I am thankful to all on here, especially the Eds.
You'll be back on in a few weeks, buddy. Once you clear your head, you won't be able to resist and will be welcomed back with open arms and probably some more pelters.

Just to make one thing crystal clear, me stepping back is me doing what I feel is best for the Edd's.
I couldn't care about people disagreeing but I can't even say negative things about Celtic on a Rangers forum without a pile-on.
The Edd's deserve better and I know they will have less arguments littering their pages by me not posting.

I have clearly read the room wrong with the Edd's.
My last few posts there have been pile-ons and then I felt I annoyed the Edd's by attempting to post things relating to my own club.
Stevie I have limited my posts recently and I think that may be the best way forward.
I have thoroughly enjoyed our conversations recently and I am glad we have moved on from the past.
John I appreciate that my friend and I will always be around to converse with you.
As I have said I thought that I was becoming a nuisance to the Edd's and I believed they deserved better.

Okay I was trying to be respectful with my response but seriously you'd be best staying off the site as you are just a sensitive wee soul who is obviously putting posts up so many people can tell you to stay etc., as I've lost count how many times now I've seen similar posts from you.
Talking about respect and such for the Edds, if they had an issue they will do as they normally do and not sanction replies as many of us reply in the heat of the moment.
Always enjoyed your input but seriously it is getting tiring, the Edds even added an ignore function so use it on the people you don't want to interact if instead of making a mountain out of a mole hill every time!

There's not a single poster on this site who doesn't add value to it. Not 1. I include people I've argued with in the past, or maybe who don't like me at present, but I'm sure they'd agree the same: we all add value and make this what it is.
I've been on other teams' sites on this same platform, and they don't come close to what we have.

I think, at times when people reply to posts that you or any other poster posts and the answers are negative, sometimes it can hit a bit hard. But I would soldier on, mate. You give good info and, believe you me, you bring much more info than I ever have.
