Clubbe Brugge are not this unbeatable force as many are saying. they are smack average and let's be honest, we made them look like world beaters in the first half and same in the friendly. Will we go through, probably not, but put that down to management and players that let themselves down when not able to seize the opportunity that few get and that's to perform in the CL in such a great atmosphere. nothing has changed because timmy got what was coming to them . If he fails tonight and they beat us then he has to go as 40 Miliion quid was just begging to be had.

I agree 100% this is a good tie to get if we had a decent team and manager - maybe tonight will be a miracle ?.

27 Aug 2025 16:14:14
Deecee I think we made 3 individual mistakes and that killed the game
yes they looked tidy and created some chances but they didn't need to as we committed defensive suicide. If we don't do that tonight we have a chance or at least a better chance.
if fans just got behind him and the team for a while isntead of giving ultimatums on when he should go then the mentality of the squad might just change. wasting my time I know but what else would I be doing.

27 Aug 2025 16:24:14
Club Brugge are not the problem for me, it's our progressive forward thinking trampy animals lives matter manager that scares me.

27 Aug 2025 16:24:53
They are a lot better than us tho and to say they are average is a joke with how bad we are. I never understand these comments.

27 Aug 2025 16:26:07
Sorry but when our team lose to queens park then we are the last fans who should be branding a european team bang average.

27 Aug 2025 16:32:03
If he wins tonight but not by enough does he still have to go?

27 Aug 2025 16:33:07
Where does this constant £40 million figure come from? Qualification for the group stage is £15.7 million. Thereafter a win is £1.8 million and a draw £590k. PSG earned close to £100 million for winning it so in reality based on our expected performance in the champions league, we'd get nowhere near £40 million.

27 Aug 2025 16:36:33
We have done well getting by 2 rounds of qualifiers which last night proves is anything but easy. Opposite argument can be made that qualifying for Europa groups with bonus parachute money means he has earned more time to get it right.

Domestic results and performances have been poor but I would have taken our European results in a heartbeat before the season started. I was really concerned we would be out of Europe this week which was a real possibility.

27 Aug 2025 16:39:06
Still a tall order to beat them away 2 goals behind imo.

27 Aug 2025 16:48:04
I personally wouldn't say they are smack average, they play some great football have cracking players that can hurt us as we've seen in previous games, qualified like 8 out of last 11 CL group stages and got to the quarter finals last year I'm led to believe, are they beatable I believe if we show the right determination and attitude then yea but make no mistake this team ain't no mugs.

27 Aug 2025 16:53:51
Your right mate but we are average at best as a team in the set up rm plays.

27 Aug 2025 17:08:03
Problem is we are currently well below an average team. There is no way we won't concede tonight. (hope I'm proved wrong! ) and then on top of that there's no way I can see us scoring 2 or 3. We haven't even been having 3 shots on target in most games.

27 Aug 2025 17:09:41
As long as the players leave everything out there tonight and give it a real go, I can live with not getting through…
Up to RM to set an aggressive side (tactics) and players to follow through…
Will not be happy if we are as insipid as last week!

27 Aug 2025 17:13:26
I wrote the tie off 20 mins into the first leg. All I want to see tonight is a solid performance with some grit and determination and some energy and a bit of passion. Some nice attacking football and at least a goal and no absolute amateur defending. Think that would then give us the confidence going into Sunday knowing that the mingers are on a bit of a downer.

27 Aug 2025 17:26:33
You don't have to understand the comments storm. We have played and beaten much better teams than Brugge over the last few years. and yes they are average and if not for the howlers we conceded we would be looking good tonight. so ease up on the reply or ignore it as opinion.

27 Aug 2025 17:46:47
I totally agree deecee, we have beaten much better teams than brugge in europe over the last few years but we need to take into account this manager of ours risk taking, slow build up football mate ?.

27 Aug 2025 18:01:20
Sir struth tv money and co effiecient money.

27 Aug 2025 18:02:12
Walter, I agree. With a better manager we would have a better chance tonight.

27 Aug 2025 18:15:15
Sir struth psg made 148 million euros from winning the cup last season.

Deecee they are better than some of our fans think and I won't understand your comments because they are utter bs. Bang average shows how much you know about football 1/ 4 finals last year but bang average ?.
Pumped us 3/ 1 and took foot of the gas but bang average ?.

27 Aug 2025 19:08:22
Remember we beat Union St Gilliose in January even with Leon King starting as a RB till he got injured and was replaced by Ross McCausland filling in there. They are the Belgian champions not Brugge. I do think we have downgraded our manager though since then.
