I think what's happened and I could be way wrong here is that frustration at our fortunes on the park and our impatience has led to things being said that would usually be kept in or not even considered.
As things stand there is a hell of a lot of uncertainty (and I'm sure people can guess my occupation as to my thoughts on this), people don't do well with uncertainty and it tends to lead to outbursts. Things will settle down once announcements are made.
I haven't lashed out at anyone or been too harsh (I hope) and whilst I understand why some have, I also fully back your point white horse as we are all part of the same support. I have disagreed with things all of the posters have mentioned have said but I also trust they have posted in good faith and therefore are undeserving of verbal attacks of sorts. I am not and have never been ITK and the sources these guys might have been solid at points and perhaps now with a changing of board those sources aren't as strong but let's not hold any misinformation or rumours that don't come to fruition against them.
All in all WATP and we need to treat our people on here better.

My reply from a certain poster is " your only posting hat you've read" HE does it all the time. So this is for him - You are correct mate, I only post what I've read, so no need for the smart replies.

On the other side of that though I think that people realise that if they post a rumour it is going to be questioned. In most cases it isn't criticising the poster but looking at what has been written.
it would be a boring forum is someone posts a rumour and the only responses were 'thanks for that' and 'good info mate'. the debate which is created from these rumours is what makes the forum different.
I hope that all of the posters you mention continue to post any rumours they get or see in the press but I also think it is perfectly acceptable to discuss, debate and challenge those posts. it is when it does get personal that there is an issue.
However it is the written word and sometimes what someone means isn't what is read on the page by the reader. as an example I have said all along that I don't think the 49ers are leaking and that doesn't go down well with posters as it questions their rumours.
Surely I can have that opinion. but it doesn't mean I don't want to see the rumour and the debate it sparks. There are a lot of people with a lot of strong opinions on the site and in the main I think it is acceptable. so continue posting the rumours but expect the debate and challenges which comes with it.

Look we're all Rangers fans on here and have different opinions on players and managers, I tend to criticise certain players who i think will not take us to a league title but that's just my disappointment at again in a 2 team league we have failed again. so let's hope going forward we have a squad of players who we can be proud of.

Tim's can scream rooftops but it hasn't been level playing field some time Whether it be playing staff quality or lbh we haven't had decent mgr. Some time. I'm patient guy, We have scope another great side, another nine row, we live in hope.

Agree to a certain extent Angus with people having the right to question or contest the rumour, but I would say the issue is with a lot of posters and regular ones at that is the response is rarely civil and in some cases snide, if that's to be accepted as the way it is then fair enough but that generally sparks it.

I'll say this. I enjoy the great insight some of the posters have on here. I also like the ridiculous posts on here. Why? Because it's entertaining on the off season. I don't watch other sports. I couldn't care less about Celebrities so Rangers is all I have. Living in Arizona and having no connections in the club this is the place I come to feel apart of the conversation. Not X or Facebook. So everyone keep posting and remember they are called RUMOURS for a reason. Things change all the time.

I am not in the know, in fact i rely on the many posters on here to keep me ahead of the game, saying that i never believe until i see them signed and announced. My experience of football is gained by the too many years i have sat and watched and enjoyed the games. apart from Rangers i hardly watch another team play apart from finals of competitions.
that said i do have opinions and i might challenge others but i try always to do it respectfully. even when someone is so blatantly wrong i take it for what it is and don't respond or rise to the bait.
respect for all other humans will get you a long way in life.

Rosevale I agree with you as well and said about the need for respect a few times along the way. I know I sometimes tread on that line but so everyone knows it isn't meant with any malice if they have thought that of me.
It is a balance though. see the thread below this where there are a few sarcastic responses to a previous post. I don't see any disrespect there and see it more as a group of pals winding one of the group up. I think it about the tolerance levels of each individual tbh and we are never going to get agreement on that.

Respect that Angus but can I add to that whilst you may have a tolerance level for that type of sarcasm or wind ups as you call it then others don't as we are all different.
I've been on this site for a while now and can't say that some of the posts are just banter, some are embarrassing to read but I accept that's the site and I choose to scroll by certain posts.

Angusyour dead right i can question a rumour but I'm not saying the poster is deliberately lying also iv read conflicting rumours on this site about the same subject so you have to question imo.
