I don't think Stevie will be back guys, I'm not sure he was all in all a success last time round apart from 1 title. Main issue I heard was he had become a bit aloof about the place and people within weren't to bothered with his departure.

Bringing him back is the new owners admitting defeat before they even start IMO. Would be a ridiculous appointment for no rational reason.
Lot of people like to rewrite history when it comes to Gerard because he "stopped the 10", conveniently ignoring that was his only trophy from 9 over that period (before he jumped at the first PL opportunity when it suited him) and it took a Celtic implosion under Lennon.
He was nowhere near as good a manager as people on here like to make out.
Decent. Better football to watch than anyone since we came back up, but the bar isn't high since then. We can do much, much better IMO.

Steven Gerard took Villa to the relegation zone, a new manager came in and took them to the champions league. He was sacked in Saudi, sadly SG was a great footballer but never a manager and I hope we don't go back to him, it would be a mistake.

As I've stated not all for him coming back. I do think people are wasting there time as imo there's not a chance of it happening. Having said that I'd welcome him back, as i would do with any manager we hire.

I spoke to a good friend, not a source of our club, he feels gerrard believes that if he rebuilt Rangers and one several trophies over a period he would put himself back in the Liverpool frame in the future
