I Think the manager thinks that Raskin and Cantwell are not up to it. both hooked again yesterday for not performing. twice at HT for tod and at 40mins in europe.

That's not my Twitter account, but I posted almost the same verbatim on here the other day.
I don't think either are anywhere near as good as a lot of our fans think they are and I don't think either will be starting 11 players long term.

Im not saying that Raskin and Cantrell are worldbeaters but if they are just average then it doesn't say a lot for players like Wright that have been here for a few seasons.
Of course we want better but we are still a long way short of the type of quality where we can win the league at a canter.
What is more, if our manager is to get the quality of player that can win us leagues then he will need considerable support from the Board.

I don't think anyone is dating players like Wright aren't below average Berkshire, just that Raskin and Cantwell aren't above average.
It's a really easy yardstick for me: Do Cantwell or Raskin get a game for a Celtic or make us strong enough consistently against Celtic to regularly best them over a season? The answer is no.
I don't even think Cantwell and Raskin are better then Aribo and Kamara at their best. Or Jack at his best. So since we last won the league, we're weaker in those positions with those two, IMO.
I genuinely think they benefited from coming in at a good time, when we were terrible and looked better than those we had playing so our fans set their baseline too high.
I think we'll move both on in in the next 3 windows for decent profit, but neither will be mainstays in the team after summer, where I think PC will do most of his business.

I don't know how much more proof people need before people realise that Raskin and Cantwell aren't good enough. Both hooked again for very poor performances. Raskin is lost in midfield, we don't control games when Raskin is in midfield and Cantwell is just as eratic. Lunny Sterling centre Diomande as the 10 ?.

To be fair did the boss not say he was still feeling the injury a wee bit? Difficult conditions today and nobody really played that well imo, but the usual suspects getting it in the neck as usual.

Raskins played about 3 games in 3 month. Give the boy a chance and a run of games. So quick to write players off, if Diomande is poor in his first 3 games should we just sell him too. Young players take time to come good. Raskin will 100% be a success in a rangers jersey.

PC says Diomande can play several positions, he's fast and agile, really do think he will be played further forward in the 10 role (even though he wears 42). Jefte looks very promising aswell. Think this guy Nils the dof could be a gem of an appointment. The way PC has us playing and seems to know a player, good times ahead. Apparently we still want a striker.
