That's a weird one. Doubt shankland needs much scouting. He's the most talked about striker in Scotland. Seen big jig hinksbwe can snare him for a million no chance hearts will let him go for that. They'll end up loosing him for nothing due to stubbornness.

I would also prefer miovski.
Apparently dons want a Scottish to Scottish record for him though, that would be more than £4.4m brown hibs to Celtic.

I wonder if we could get miovski for £3m? He’s possibly worth £4m.

Did he not score versus England a few months ago aswell? I’m sure he did, shows he can do it against top players.

I’d happily take both.

If want better if possible but sometimes it isn’t possible.

Next season we have tav, our best player, and we need to decide on devines place at club, and we have sterling.
Don’t see where we fit in a lad who would be demanding games?

If we do bring a 4th player in though, That means 1 is left out of europa sqaud, as only 3 can be swapped in for the 3 coming out.

AC21, i reckon Tav will honour his contract to 2026 then retire or play 1 season down south then retire at 35.

Still one of the top goal scoring LB's in the world, crazy to think total transfer fees paid to date is only 350k.

The 250k we paid for him to Wigan.
And the 100k Wigan paid to take him off Newcastle.

If we were offered 5 mill prior to his final season, we would be silly not to take it.

I watched the Hearts game on my stick it was a great finish by Shankland but he was poor otherwise hardky in the game i'm not sure about him certainly not at the prices mentioned.

I see Tav being with us for at least the next two seasons and possibly even for another season after that while we ease in a replacement. At the present time I do not believe that his successor is at Rangers and finding someone that brings as much as he does to the team will not be easy.
While we criticise Warburton for many things signing Tav was certainly one of the positives.

I’ll bet any amount to anyone on that one.
Why would he not be? He’s our best player, always comes up with the goods in the big games and when we need it most.

This is another time when he’s getting shot down and talked down when new manager comes in. He’s played every minute of every game since clement came in. Devines not had a sniff and sterilant has been moved into mf cause clement sees his quality but won’t drop tav for him.

He’ll see out his testimonial year as our captain and right back and then he and management will assess situations
He stated some time ago the only club he’d consider leaving for is Leeds Utd, and I feel it’s too late for him for that now.

We’ve beeen told that he pulled plug on Barron and McKenna.

Why would we have to watch Shankland yesterday? After all the time he has been at Hearts and played against us have we not seen enough of him to know whether we fancy him or not. More likely we are having a look at Barron to decide whether we give him the pre contract or not.

Could just be more smoke and mirrors while we work under the radar on the actual target. Sending someone to a Hearts game when Shankland has been the principal story for the Scottish Media since the window opened.
