Think he has to enlist it by a set age which I think is 28 in these circumstances. He must have contracts with teams to say he can enlist whilst at their club.

There are ways around the year-and-a-half of military service, which have been taken advantage of by other South Korean players in the past. Winning the Asian Games is one way; however, for Kim this would have to be in 2030, as he hasn't been chosen in the squad for this year's competition.
Alternatively, an Olympic gold medal can also secure exemption.

Another weird signing, spending that kind of money on an inexperienced kid when we are crying out for players with nous and know how. Celtic got Hassan for a similar amount and Duran for less than we are spending on yet another project player. They have also picked up an experienced CL striker for just £1million more than we paid for Chermiti last summer.
There is value for money out there, we just can't seem to find it. By the way, this is no criticism of Kim, I hope he's brilliant and comes here and makes me eat my words, but I just don't think he's the type of signing we need right now.

Celtic are signing players that play international football and have played Champions League, etc., and we're signing who? The board are clueless. Wslgers, fact of the matter is we don't have Champions League to attract players, so we're operating in different profiles than them. But even then, the Egyptian lad they signed was from the same league and for all we know his World Cup was a flash in the pan (we've had plenty of players like that!), so I'm quite excited by this guy.

Dougie Mcrorrie was signed as a back up for less than a million, we signed a RB with 11 caps for Serbia as our first choice RB.
Mcrorrie, thus far, doesn't look good enough, but another Rangers fan player that knows the league, Penrice does, so it's a gamble with every single signing we make.
Celtic can sign players like Hogh cause they're in the Champions League. You're off your head if you think Rangers can attract players to leave their teams playing in Champions League to come play in Conference League.

Egyptian lad, 15 goals in 257 matches, an awful lot of those games in La Liga 2. Played 6 international matches (4 friendlies) at age of 24, with 1 assist, so hardly a sparkling international career (yet).
3 assists in 37 games at La Liga level.
Kim has 9 goals in 58, only played 3 games in La Liga but is 4 years younger. Yes, it might be a risk, but not sure the young Egyptian lad is any less of one.

We tried to sign the PSV winger with plenty of CL goals and he was getting called crap, but Celtic buy a couple with CL goals and they are the second coming. 🤷🏼♂️ They buy a boy from second division in Spain and he's quality, we go for one and it's panty wetting time, no one knows how things will play but the negativity during this huge turnover is murder polis man.

I'm not going to criticise the club for signing a back up for less than a million. It's a non issue for me. They will be judged over the players they bring in over the coming two weeks for big money.

Antman and Skov Olsen both came in, tonnes of international caps, playing at high levels, great amount of goals and assists and they both did f*** all. It means nothing what they did before, only thing that matters is what they do with us. End of story. You can pick up a player for 500k and he becomes your best player after a year which was the case with Braga at Hearts. Or you can spend 10m on a player and they come in and they're rank rotten. There are no guarantees with anyone.
So this aww Celtic did this Celtic did that. Who cares. They're not our team, we'll worry about our own club and get ourselves in a better place before we worry about anyone else. Have they signed a couple of good players? Aye it looks that way. But that's also the same club that's been protesting for years against their board about their lack of spending and quality recruitment. Every single fan is entitled to their opinion.
The concerns highlighted are fair and just. Plus, our track record of such transfers isn't brilliant!
This stance from many, that nobody is allowed to criticise anything, and by not doing so you are also somehow a better person for not raising your concerns, is frankly nothing more than virtue signalling!

Nobody's bringing everything down, am just stating the obvious. If you think Ross McRorie is good enough for Rangers then we're doomed, no matter if it's a starter or not. He wasn't good enough the first time, and he's nowhere near good enough now. Also, a wasn't talking about Hassan, am talking about Duran and Hogh and even Baur, 3 players who have came in and hit the ground running at that lot. Tell me one who's came in and hit the ground running out ours. Only one a would say who's started well is the centre back. A think people on this app think fans like having to speak like this, we don't, but you can keep kidding yourself on and other people on if you want, but I am not falling for it. We're miles off the pace, and if we don't go and sign 3 or 4 quality players we will be lucky to finish 3rd, and spending that money and to even say that tells you everything you need to know.
