Spurs probably want him in higher league this time, Cerny smd his missus didn't enjoy Glasgow so he's probably said no, we also can't pay his current wage, we're not in for Penrice. We need starting players with real quality, Skoglund, there's been no interest or bid from Rangers.

See, at the end of the window we'll see what the squad looks like.
Come December we'll know, after 12-15 games, if these players are at it and we'll have seen enough of them to have an accurate opinion on them.
At the end of the season we'll know if we're moving in the right direction under McInnes. He won't be the 2nd coming of Sir Walter, but he might actually, with a bit of patience and time, get us over the line.
Let's see. Our rivals will drop points away from home and we'll pick points up and vice versa. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
And, if it's awful come the end of the season, more questions need to be asked of The Chairman than anyone.

If X amount of clubs want him and will match the fee and wages, then Moore will pick Rangers, Spurs will be happy to let the boy be happy.

With the squad we have, we might be better going 352, giving one of the defenders license to push up into midfield. We've no quality wide players at the moment, so best I can see is getting Rommens and Sterling higher up faster.

Whilst I do understand some of the replies to Stevie G on here, all you need to do is look at the many Rangers related FB and X pages, even the YT highlights, to see literally thousands of comments backing Stevie G's concerns. A post was shot down a week or so ago for saying it's been a poor window. It has been. Did anyone watch the pre season games? Kaiser Chiefs should have beaten us, the West Ham game was a piss poor 0-0 with absolutely zero looks of winning it, St Etienne should have beaten us, Dundee United should have beaten us and looked the more threatening side.
Stevie G, and the many others' comments, are experience of exactly what we've been seeing for years, and that some have been saying all summer in relation to business and games already played.
It can get better. It should get better. DM knows he needs more players. His post game conference was really good in terms of knowing what he needs and what went wrong. It isn't on solely on McInnes either imo. It's a Rangers issue. The club has this horrible mentality that managers just can't seem to shake. We have not improved, whatsoever. That is the worry.

Worry when the transfer window shuts. It's a lot to ask to compete in Europe, and it might even be a blessing in disguise long term to not have to if we can focus domestically this year. We're clearly short in specific areas. There's a month to address it and we'll get guys in the door. It'll be obvious to the club where we're lacking, and we were lacking just about everywhere last year, so this requires patience. Can't blame Stevie for his pessimism as that's what being a Rangers fan will do to you, but this was never going to be a quick fix.
The major saving grace here is Celtic were absolute dross last year too, and they've barely strengthened when they desperately need to. So there may actually be a period of grace here. They need serious surgery between now and September too, so I doubt there'll be daylight between us between now and then. What the club really needs is a more settled pre-season, an established manager who isn't replacing a multitude of loans.
