Souttar having medical at Swansea apparently could be for Swansea / Cardiff hope so get things moving last of leadership group.

28 Jul 2026 13:37:28
Wasn't Sterling also part of the old leadership group?

28 Jul 2026 13:42:54
No, Goatboy.

28 Jul 2026 13:43:36
Sterling remains fit. He could be another big player.

28 Jul 2026 13:51:03
I thought he was part of the old leadership group, but yeh I doubt he can stay fit tho.

28 Jul 2026 14:01:45
We can only hope, Mystar. Great asset to the club when fit. It's just keeping him fit for a good run of games is the problem.

28 Jul 2026 14:02:31
That's the thing, star, he won't stay fit lol he's made of biscuits.

28 Jul 2026 14:11:02
If he stays, he'll start 10 games and perhaps play another 10 from the bench. I think he is a good player, but he's just not fit.

28 Jul 2026 13:43:46
I doubt it goat but he should be sent packing also disgrace of a human being.

28 Jul 2026 14:27:33
In talks for Markelo on loan.

28 Jul 2026 14:38:07
That's a big "If", Star, & even then I don't think he's that good, he's at fault for plenty of goals over his time. We can't go into another season hoping he'll be fit & free to play.

28 Jul 2026 15:11:46
Sterling is a good rb, Djb, not many getting by him in one to one's.

28 Jul 2026 15:26:27
Can't remember Sterling being at fault for "plenty" of goals, Djb.
Simply because he has never played that many games. 😂😂😂

28 Jul 2026 15:53:28
Anyone know what the 6 monthly injections Sterling gets are for? Maybe they've got control of the injury?

28 Jul 2026 16:00:20
Sterling is a great player. It's the injuries that's the issue. If we can keep him fit, then it's a no brainer keeping him. He's yer starting RB every day of the week.

28 Jul 2026 16:01:33
Maybe his last operation sorted his problem. Been fit for months now, first pre season since the one after he joined, Sterling is a good player.

28 Jul 2026 16:26:56
Be great if that was him over the injuries, Mystar. Solid. And potentially our RB for many years.

28 Jul 2026 16:29:54
He ain't even that good when he is fit. Another bang average player that seems to turn into a superstar when he is injured a bit like Hagi did. ðŸĪĶ‍♂ïļ

28 Jul 2026 16:21:46
Who's a disgrace of a human?

28 Jul 2026 16:54:12
I'm assuming he's talking about the drink driving Gazza.

28 Jul 2026 17:08:42
After we played Celtic last season, Sterling went out drunk driving. He was drunk driving late at night and crashed his car. There's no excuse for it. Leadership group or not, is this the type we really want around the club?

28 Jul 2026 17:18:06
No one was hurt. People make mistakes and I'm sure he will learn from it.
Calling him a disgrace of a human being is well over the top.

28 Jul 2026 17:24:21
If Gazza and Super Ally can get in the Rangers Hall of Fame, storm surely you can cut Sterling a bit of slack. Could be the new club captain.

28 Jul 2026 17:26:36
Sterling is a very good footballer. He has lacked consistent fitness for most of his time with us.
If he can stay fit, he will be a first team regular, on merit.
As for the off field incident - no excuse - everyone makes mistakes - surely he can be allowed a second chance, without condoning his actions?

28 Jul 2026 17:33:13
Rohl, Captain of Celtic, made the same mistake. Plenty players that have previously played for us have done the same. Hopefully he's learned from his very poor choice.

28 Jul 2026 17:39:02
We all have small memories with players making mistakes in their personal life, Gazza and Fernando come to mind and they were exceptional for us. All walks of life make mistakes in their personal life and can't be judged on that. Some of the best in the game have done the same. Rooney was out shagging grannies.

28 Jul 2026 18:04:40
Slipper, you're surely not comparing what Rooney done, sleeping with grannies, with drunk driving, speeding?

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Shockingly poor judgement but hopefully he's remorseful and shows better judgement going forward.

28 Jul 2026 18:34:47
No comparing the mistake in their private life. Everybody is human and makes poor judgement. He doesn't deserve to be hounded for it. Small memories only because the guy is a crock, but hopefully that is past him because he has massive ability in my opinion

28 Jul 2026 19:42:35
Absolutely no doubt for me Dujon Sterling is a very good right back, and barring his injury issues he wouldn't be playing in Scottish football as he'd be playing in a top league with a decent size club. ðŸĪ” Just don't understand how some can't see that Sterling is a good right back.

👀 Fair enough doubting his injury record, but doubting his ability, well wide of the mark for me, and strongly advise they go to Specsavers. ðŸĪŠ

28 Jul 2026 19:55:29
Coops, he isn't a good right back and I have 20/20 vision, mate.

28 Jul 2026 19:54:42
Gazza Sterling is and always will be in my eyes.

Peter he shouldn't be anywhere near the team never mind captain.

Bee yes disgrace of a human being.

All this crap about he never hurt anyone it's embarrassing obviously none of you have lost family members to morons that drink and drive every one of them are a disgrace.

28 Jul 2026 22:39:33
Wow Storm, you must be one helluva human to not have any empathy for a young man who made a mistake, you've had a mare there, pal. He didn't hurt anyone, he made an error in judgement.

'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone'.

28 Jul 2026 22:42:33
Difficult to compare players from a different era, like Ally and others who also did wrong. Not excusing it, but back then the limit was much higher, and there was a lack of understanding, and it was easy to go just over. Now, it's pretty much a no to drink anything at all, so it's totally unacceptable.

Also, it's a poor reflection on the professionalism of any athlete, particularly one who has such a poor physical record, not to try and make sure he's in top condition.

29 Jul 2026 00:27:07
Storm, I think perhaps he has lost a loved one to drink driving by the sounds of how he speaks.

If that's the case, then I totally understand his opinion and respect it and his right to say it as many times as he wishes.

If that's the case, Storm, I'm sorry that happens to u mate.

29 Jul 2026 02:07:40
To say Sterling isn't good when fit is utter nonsense.

29 Jul 2026 11:32:04
GJD83, got to agree with that, also people seem to have short memories re Sterling's versatility when he was asked to play many different positions to help the team, and he did that admirably.

29 Jul 2026 11:35:00
Cheers Stevie.

Bazbear what a ridiculous thing to say. I have lost a family member to drink driving so I won't cut anyone that does it any slack whatsoever every person that drinks and drives in this world are nothing but scum.

29 Jul 2026 18:06:49
I'm sorry for your loss, Storm, genuinely, but Sterling was guilty of driving under the influence, not causing anyone harm, so I think it's unfair to tar him with that brush. I get the personal side for you and others, but I can't buy into the dreadful human being argument. There are truly dreadful humans in the world, but Sterling isn't in that category, I'm afraid.
