Seen couple online reports stating Monaco interested in Gassama in the summer and Besiktas interested in Chermiti. If true and descent fee then please sell both in my opinion

Those stories broke mid transfer window, I think, with the club confirming they had offers on both players. Apparently, we knocked back 13 million for Chermiti from Besiktas and a 10 million loan-to-buy deal for Gassama, according to some media sources.
Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are both keen on Fernandez as well.

I agree with the sell in the summer to buy better, but it would have been a mistake in January. A couple of injuries would have left us struggling. Also, I think they'll both play a big part in the run-in.

Seen original reports, but new reports came out yesterday. Here's hoping the interest is real for the summer. I'm torn about Fernando's offer. Great profit, but there is a big sell-on clause, and other than Rommens it would leave a whole new defence next season.

Laudrup, the 13 million was from Fenerbahce for Chermiti, which they came out and publicly said they didn't bid and have no interest in him.

The Chermiti story was a bag of Jimmy White.
Gassama and Chermiti are both dug meat for us. Gassama is just a torn-faced wee boy who goes in cream puffs because he gets subbed due to how brutal he is. Chermiti is just a striker who can't do what a striker is meant to do, and that is score on a regular basis.
That boy will dine out on his 2 goals against the worst tim team in 40 years for the rest of his Rangers career.
If DR starts with both, or either of them, today, then I'm out and I will spend my time in the Louden rather than torture myself in the stadium.
Both will not be missed if they do go!

Remember, Fernandez's former club has a substantial sell-on too, even though we paid a lot, so the fee would have to be Bassey levels for me, especially with how we've struggled to find good cb options.

Honestly, if there are decent bids for any of the players Martin brought in, they should be sold. The money should be given to Danny to recruit the players he wants, so he can have his own full squad.

It would be outstanding business if we can move Gassama and Fernandez on to teams in the Big 5 leagues.
Showing that we are a viable pathway for players could really help in terms of attracting a higher calibre of player next time round.
To enable it, though, we need a solid base of players that we can rely on to provide continuity - preferably home-grown.

Both are waster jerseys, imo. Chermit had 1 good game against a dreadful Celtic defence, and Gassama has done next to nowt.

How will we cope without Yousloser Chermissy? He has 4 goals in 6 seasons, with 2 goals in one game. ? We will never win anything without his "hold up play". Oh yeah, I forgot that we had 13 goals in 2 games without him in the squad, but some say we don't provide for strikers. ?

I was in favour of holding on to Gassama because I thought he looked good when he first signed, but if his form has gone, it's taking too long to come back. As for Chermiti, if it hadn't been for that second half in the Old Firm game, nobody would be wanting him to stay. We could have sourced a replacement who would have scored more goals, even in January. Kilmarnock lost their main striker to injury in the Autumn and went and brought in a free agent in John-Jules, who has already got 7 goals this season, including a hat trick of good finishes last Wednesday night.
In a worse side, he is already better than our 10 million striker. I'm not saying we should have bought him, but it shows there is better out there if we had bothered to look.
