Connor Barron and Dujon Sterling injuries are long term.

The club will need to accelerate some deals that were maybe planned for later now.

08 Jan 2026 18:22:50
Go all out and get Silas Anderson and get another Centre back in. Tav will need to step up now.

08 Jan 2026 18:26:13
Some OOC targets likely to be accelerated.

08 Jan 2026 18:31:44
Cussing that's why they are bring in the left back and the midfielder we had bids accepted for today then.

08 Jan 2026 18:31:45
Need a defensive minded rb on loan dor 6 months to cover Sterling for me thata a must now.

08 Jan 2026 18:32:03
Wondered how many games Sterling would last, hey ho, no surprises there!
More concerned with Barron, he was just settling in nicely with Raskin.

08 Jan 2026 18:36:15
If Sterling is long term again. Then probably needs moved on.

08 Jan 2026 18:37:56
How is Sterling injured or is it club pulling him out the firing line.

08 Jan 2026 18:39:28
Sterling out again? Seriously get rid. Probably the best RB we have but useless only getting 2 or 3 games every few months. I'll drive him back down south because he canna do it himself.

08 Jan 2026 18:41:07
If Sterling is out again long term he's unfortunately a waste of a wage. Really like the guy and plays for the shirt. but similar to the likes of Ryan Jack, that's not enough if constantly out injured. ?.

08 Jan 2026 18:48:03
Think we need a couple more, and I would like to see a striker come in, we have a good chance of the league but further injury's could derail us big time. Need to go for it.

08 Jan 2026 18:50:08
Never mind sacking Sterling he needs be moved on regardless guy is fit for 5 games a season.

08 Jan 2026 18:51:48
We need a RB in this window.

08 Jan 2026 19:02:29
Not shocked regarding Sterling it was more of a matter of when.

08 Jan 2026 19:02:31
Mark I didn't believe we did with Sterling but I do now.

08 Jan 2026 19:21:35
Was it stated by the Club or the media that Barron was injured long term.

08 Jan 2026 19:27:46
Kaiser, why can't he drive himself back down south? Serious question.

08 Jan 2026 19:30:58
A like big Sterling but he's far to injury prone a lot of that squad dead wood now take what u can get for them move on honestly a think Danny Rohl can build a team to dominate this league gee him the cash and get rid of the deadwood think we can go on a good run winning trophies and leagues Celtic are done they need a clearout time to capatilise????????????.

08 Jan 2026 19:56:55
With our record on longer term injuries we probably need at least 5 in. And as many out ideally.

08 Jan 2026 19:58:44
My Star, that's why I wanted a RB in. We can't rely on Sterling's fitness.
I'd seriously consider moving him on in the summer.
At least we have time to bring someone in this window.
I don't rate Aaron's or Tav at RB.

08 Jan 2026 20:02:14
Both will be huge misses, DR has his work cut out now.

08 Jan 2026 20:33:45
As much as I don't rate Aarons I reckon he will probably play more than Tav over the second half of the season. Tav is done been a great servant who we have needed to replace for some time, the fact Sterling is out AGAIN wed be as well going now to replace tav rather than wait until the summer suppose that would be if there is a player available who ticks the boxes.

08 Jan 2026 20:48:12
After a lengthy time out it's not unusual to pick up muscle injuries. Sterling was being managed for this reason and hopefully it's not a tear and just a tweak.

08 Jan 2026 21:30:36
Tav got the voodoo doll out again typical.

08 Jan 2026 21:54:25
I love Sterling, give the lad a break, he is a cracking player, it's common after a bad injury to get a strain, he needed less game time. But he is a top player, give him backing instead of hate.

08 Jan 2026 23:04:14
Dcdel i back my granny but shes still ****ed. ? seriously, love Sterling as a player but he's the same as roofe was and we should be looking at a RB now. Aarons and tav at rb will haunt us eventually.

08 Jan 2026 23:19:11
I like Sterling wish he could stay fit ,but I swear he can't go six matches without getting an injury. wasted wages.

09 Jan 2026 09:09:49
Sterling doesn't get injured in a car crash but gets injured playing 20mins of football. good player but need to get rid of him asap.

Xavier Muyamba can play RB as well as CB, OOC in 6 months, valued at 1 mill currently and a big strong pacey lad.

AI Overview

Xavier Mbuyamba is a tall, physically imposing Dutch center-back known for his aerial dominance, strength, and calm ball-playing ability, often compared to Virgil van Dijk due to his elegant style, long legs, recovery pace, and composure in possession, though he's still developing concentration and tactical awareness in high-pressure situations. He excels at winning tackles, reading the game, and bringing the ball out from defense to start attacks, possessing good long passing and vision for his size.

Key Strengths:

Physical Presence: Tall (6'4) and strong, making him dominant in aerial duels.

Composure and Technique: Calm and elegant on the ball, comfortable dribbling and passing, avoiding panicked clearances.

Ball-Playing Defender: Offers as a passing option, steps into midfield, and excels at bringing the ball out.

Defensive Acumen: Good reading of the game, effective one-on-one defending, and recovery pace to cover.

Versatility: Can play center-back or right-back.
