I was always a defender of Danilo but he just never kicked on and after his absence he just never managed to get settled game time so if we can get a reasonable offer we should 100% take it and reinvest.

Best thing about Danilo is his Da.
As a footballer, his contribution has been very disappointing.
Current market value on Transfermkt is 2M euro. We paid 7M euro. At only 26yrs old he has wilted in value during his time with us when he should have been moving into his prime.
We're going to get hosed, but time for him to go.

Looked like he was coming on to a game before his first injury but has then delivered very little unfortunately since finally getting back to full fitness. The occasional good moment, he'll work hard but I just don't see him kicking on for us and so it is def time to let go and if we got £2m then I'd take that and the wage saving and wish him well for the future.
If we can keep his da as part of the deal that would be good!

Danilo has made over 2 million in wages since being here. 1.2 million when injured. Not a bad job if you can get it. 26 years old, became a multi millionaire and hardly played. It's usual for us. Roofe, Jack, Matondo, kranjcar etc.
Our recruitment really needs sorted. Tough and robust is what we need. Too many on 20,000-30,000 per week and never play. We need proven players with a good injury history. Tav and goldson were always available. Reliability. 3-1 v them.

Unfortunately the lad had 2 serious injuries in fairly quick succession, the 2nd one taking a long time to recover from, was a good striker at every club before that.
Wish him all the best if he moves this window.
2.5 years left on his contract, only 26, surely we can get the 2 mill he is currently valued at.
Perhaps Santos can sell morelos to Atletico Nacional in Columbia for 3 mill and Santos can Bring their former youth player home for 2 mill into our transfer kitty plus the wage saving.
