think if fans over there want to see the two teams and get the chance to see an OF game then we should be going all out to do it; the cash we get is an added bonus. But then I didn't have any issues over the Australian one as more than happy for our overseas fans to see the same games we do.

I understand Rangers had to play 3/4 games after the Australia debacle, a court judgement to clear a major finanydebt
I believe we only played Man United at Murray field with all money going towards our debt to the organisers, can anyone update did we pay all the debt as part off takeover.

Sons, while I do understand you're opinion there mate, if we don't move with the times we'll be left behind.
All the too clubs around Europe are doing these things now and we must join them and not just for the lucrative contracts on offer but for the global fan base to see us in action and for that fan base to grow every time we play these games.

I agree with SOS, we have to play them in Scotland but I by choice I wouldn't want anything to do with them. As far as they are concerned there is no OF game anymore so how could we have one in the USA. Some of the stick and disrespect we've had from them, and I don't mean the fans, over the last few years just sticks in my craw and as I say I wouldn't want any extra games against them.
Play other teams in the USA and the fans can see Rangers that way without the aggro.

I wasn't against the Aussie friendly either.
A chance for the club to make money.
And a chance for Rangers supporters over there to see the team in action.
We complain that our game is being left behind in Europe but don't want our 2 biggest assets to showcase what we have to offer and grow the game.
Huge club rivalries all over Europe play preseason friendlies and yet an inward looking, narrow minded Scotland looks down their nose at the concept.

Can just see the two sets of supporters happily sitting alongside each other on couches along the sidelines ala the World Cup... "Could you please pass the mustard for my hotdog, Timothy", "Certainly Bro. William, enjoy" 🌭 😜
