Hard to keep up with the positivity today, but thought Chukwuani deserved a shout out.
He was box to box and a constantly looking to drive us forward.
Think having Raskin and Drago in with him let him concentrate on playing to his strengths.

I'm still not keen on him, mate, so maybe that's why I never noticed him having a good game today like some have said. Others have said he was poor. I'll need to give him more attention.

Chukwuani and Gassama both played well, but we need consistency from them now, too often they have a good game followed by 3 bad ones.
Really hope this is the first building block for Del. Same 11 Thursday night, maybe 1-2 new signings in and on bench to give us something positive from bench.

That's the correct formation for us. Which will be a big worry for Shankland as he's not going to be starting much. We 100% need 3 in middle of the park.

Mentioned that earlier, he's a big unit, and when he starts to drive forward the opposition struggle to get ball off him, also played the right ball at right time at end of it, got to keep it up and continually play games.

It definitely suited him more with Raskin & Drago, when he moved into the 8 he was a different player.

Makanya looks better than Fernandez.

I think several lads played a cracker today, credit where credit is due. Just need it to be more consistent. Have to say, today is the 1st game this season where the lads actually looked a bitty happier. Penrice was superb too. Sadly, Manny had another nightmare & when there's another option, I'm guessing he will lose his place.

Chucki was a great player yesterday, just needs to keep that going. Defence, though, is still a worry. It's like Fernandez doesn't want to be here. He should have been off as well. Foul for the penalty, surely would or should have been a yellow.

I would play the same team on Thursday apart from Manny. I would try McCrorie with Makhanya. He would clear his lines.
