If true, Rohl has left it too late for us to recruit a replacement.
We risk having another disaster of a preseason, and not having a manager will affect potential incomings.
As a result, I wouldn't let him go anywhere.

It's not too late, and it's way better than it potentially going wrong with Rohl and a new manager starting again in October with someone else's players. The new manager will have a full preseason and summer to buy his own players. I think it's time to give McInnes a go, he knows the club, knows Scottish football inside out, and will make us hard to beat, even if it's not always pretty (but then again, Walters' football wasn't always great to watch).
I genuinely think he could be a success.

If he does leave, then the board must get a manager in with experience. We simply can afford to go down the project manager type again. I don't know who, but plenty of managers with experience and, dare I say, who has won trophies. We just need to push the boat out that bit further.

Gerrard would be a great move and the owners get compen for Rohl, happy days. If he has visited Burnley, he would have got a shock; it's a hole in the Earth.

Would coincide with what John said couple months back - that he missed his family, etc.
Also, Andrew Cavanagh saying manager would be backed, but didn't and wouldn't confirm when questioned if it would be Rohl.
I wonder who we would get in.

Conflicting stories saying both clubs are talking and some that there are not yet, usual tired names, Gerrard, McInnes, Muscat. Only other different name suggested that I've not heard was Stars John Eustace as a suggestion.

He said he wanted to stay. The owner backed him fully, and Rohl hasn't made the approach on behalf of Red Bull Salzburg.
Rangers could just No. He's not available.
If Rangers enter talks, it's hardly his fault.
He said he's committed, the board were behind him, and if they enter talks, it's not on Rohl.
I'm not Rohl's biggest fan. I have concerns about him, but he's not responsible for RBS allegedly approaching Rangers.

Let's be honest, if Rohl wants to move closer to home, best to just let him go, as all you will have is a manager who is not fully committed to job.
Just get best deal that suits club & move on, going by performances at end of season when pressure was on, should not be too hard to replace.

I turn my back for 1 minute to get a new knee in the golden jubilee & we carelessly look like we could lose the coach!
Let's hope that this was being looked at as a possibility & someone with experience has been spoken to (Not Gerrard or McInnes).
