Trying to take my mind off some sad and personal news from call late last night, so here's a football debate for everyone.
What kind of squad do we think we'll have going into the new season? Do you see us building around a young, attacking team with experienced players running through the spine of it, or do you think we'll rely more heavily on experience overall?
Personally, I have high hopes for the season. I think we'll have a genuine chance of mounting a serious title challenge as I've been posting if recruitment goes well.
I can see us having a stronger goalkeeper this year, a solid back four, and aggressive, quick wing-backs who get forward whenever possible. In midfield, I think we'll have a blend of quality and creativity, with players capable of controlling games while also moving the ball quickly.
Up front, I'd love to see quick, attacking wingers with good chemistry between them, creating chances and stretching defences, with Shankland/ Chermiti leading the line and finishing those opportunities.
Overall, I'm expecting a young, dynamic, attack-minded squad with enough experienced heads throughout the team to keep things balanced. If everything clicks, I think we could be right up for the fight for the title.
What does everyone else think?

Firstly, let me say, Thestigno1, I'm very sorry to hear you received sad personal news and try and keep your chin up pal. ? Regarding your debate, I think a young dynamic team is the way to go, sprinkled with experience like Shankland and hopefully Lewis Ferguson and Dan Neil, mate. ?

Stig not got much time to answer post, just hope everything is ok, pal. ?

First off, sorry to hear you got some sad news.
Every team needs that strong spine, Stig.
And a team complimented with quality experience and some quality youthfulness wouldn't be far away.
Just as important is the squad, though.
You want hungry players willing to fight for a start, not those content to pick up a weekly wage as a bit part player.

Sorry to hear you had sad news, Stig, take care, sir, as for the team, imo, we need a young, quick, dynamic team who take no crap, held together with a spine of serious experience & half a dozen realistic backups (no projects).
Not asking for much. ??

Stig, my thoughts are with you. Genuinely, I think we need a good mix of experience and youth, and potentially a couple of really hungry players that see us as a stepping stone.
