Really liked Daniel Candeias at Ibrox and him and Tav had a fantastic understanding down our right hand side, so it would be Candeias for me as he had a better attitude as well as wing skill. ? ??

Tough to call, but Candeias had better overall attitude IMHO, also Candeias was POY in his first season (different times I know). ?

Candeias for me. Was wrongly dropped and has never been replaced. Had a terrific understanding with Tav too.

Absolutely loved the wee guy, played his heart out for us and him, and put in a real defensive shift that allowed Tav to disappear up the pitch.

Candeias was a better player, worked harder, was quicker, more consistent.
Gassama is capable of great moments of technical ability, but it's not anywhere near consistent enough.

I really liked Candeias and didn't think he got the credit he deserved.
My issue here is we are comparing a right winger with a player who prefers and is better on the left.

Wasn't a huge fan of him. He had work rate, I'll give him that, and covered for Tav, not much else, only my opinion. He is vastly overrated by Rangers fans imo.

The right winger/ forward we have never replaced in terms of numbers is Windas, his numbers are the best & no one has come close to him since. He was vilified for pulling out of tackles and lack of heart. If he'd had better players around about him his numbers would be even better. Always turned up against Celtic, also he was a massive loss.

Candeias was by far a better player than Gassama. He had better end product and worked for the team, worked really hard.

Candeias for me seemed to offer more end product, but Gassama, if he improved his decision making, has more potential.

I think Gassama could become better, but at present I think Candeias was better for us, but it ain't a high bar in Gassama as he's not done a great deal tbh.

I think the reason Tav was more attacking in those days was because he was a lot younger and had the legs. When Gerrard came in, he covered Tav with the right midfielder, and that's when he was at his best.
Candeias was a decent player who always worked hard. He had some really good games and some really poor ones. He was a standout in a really poor team. Another who nostalgia seems to make better than he really was.
