Out of all the players we have on loan who would you keep going by their contributions so far? Personally at this stage I'd only keep Moore, possibly mgoma. I hope Olsen can find form an contribute before the end of season. Cornelius looked ok but was injured. Thoughts?

24 Feb 2026 10:25:37
Keep Moore. Depending on price, keep Meghoma as good competition for Rommens. Rest can leave. Unless there's massive improvement from Olsen, he's not worth the price quoted.

24 Feb 2026 10:52:58
Definitely Moore and Skov Olsen. I would consider Meghoma, but absolutely none of the others.

24 Feb 2026 11:09:52
None of them.

24 Feb 2026 11:11:07
I would ask to loan Olsen for another 6 months, then make a decision. He has not shown enough to justify that price.

24 Feb 2026 11:15:13
Cornelius seemed to be good, but players who only ever play 5-10 games and then are injured for more than a month are a risky investment. If he was free, yes, but a 3-4 million fee, no. We seriously need to stop buying injury-prone players. Love or hate Tav, he's always available, but now slower than ever. Djiga won't be back. Not bothered. Meghoma has been easily replaced and upgraded with Rommens Numan. Aarons ok, fit, but not on Sterling's level. A RB is a priority. Moore might be back again after May.

We should look at that. Olsen costs us lots for, in my opinion, little return. He couldn't really get a game at Wolfsburg, so a 9 million fee would be madness when we didn't spend 7 on Cerny who is better. There's going to be an overhaul come the end of the season. Daddy Cavanaugh is hopefully opening his wallet. Let's buy smart for a change. Look at Danny's players. Naderi, Chucky and Rommens or Chermissy, Aarons and Aasgaard? Would we miss Chermiti or Aasgaard? 100% no.

24 Feb 2026 11:31:38
Hopefully this Sunday, Olsen shows what he's all about. If he just gets by to the end of the season without showing much, we must spend our money elsewhere. Not writing him off yet, though.

24 Feb 2026 11:34:12
Moore only.

24 Feb 2026 11:45:30
Not Moore.

24 Feb 2026 11:50:54
I would keep Skov Olsen, but no-one else. Curtis should be getting the game time Moore is getting just now.

24 Feb 2026 11:57:00
Wouldn't mind Meghoma, but Brentford won't be selling him. Would love Moore, but can't see that being possible over the fee. Olsen gets more time to impress before I'd be thinking about signing him. Liked Cornelius, but wouldn't be signing him, only because of injuries.
Djiga has impressed lately. Signing him would depend on the fee.

24 Feb 2026 12:19:03
Moore, Skov Olsen (best still to be seen), and Cornelius would be keepers, imho. All the rest can go back to parent clubs, and I would say Sterling needs replaced. ?

24 Feb 2026 12:33:44
Definitely no to Aarons and Djiga. Cornelius never showed enough to be worth the money quoted. The jury is still out on Skov Olsen. I would take Moore on loan again, but he is not worth the money Spurs would want to sell him for, and likewise Meghoma.

Brentford would want more than we paid for Rommens, so why would we pay that for a backup left back after we have signed a better player for less money? There will be other cheaper options than Meghoma available in the summer.

24 Feb 2026 12:41:36
Skov will come good, he has barely played any football. I'd definitely keep him. Moore is out of reach for us. The rest can go back. Meghoma has done well, but Rommens is an upgrade and already our player. Meghoma is not going to sit on the bench.

24 Feb 2026 13:09:57
You're entitled to your opinion, John, but I don't know what you're watching in not wanting us to keep Mikey Moore. ? That's just my honest opinion, mate. ?

24 Feb 2026 13:19:53
Mickey Moore is worth keeping, but the rest can go. So disappointed in Olsen. I still remember him against Scotland in WC qualifiers, in which he was awful. He's obviously got talent, but we and Wolfsburg haven't seen it. ?

24 Feb 2026 13:27:26
He's not and never will be ours, unless you believe Peter Grant. I'm with Angus and a few others. Curtis should've been getting Moore's minutes; he's ours.

24 Feb 2026 14:08:47
So change the question slightly on Moore. He is valued at £16M on Transfermrkt. Assuming we have the budget, would you rather pay Spurs that for him, or buy more players to fit in with the way the manager wants to play for the same funds? So, 4 players or 1?

24 Feb 2026 14:11:19
Moore looks like he loves playing here.

Skov Olsen doesn't.

24 Feb 2026 14:32:26
Tend to agree with John here. I don't think I'd keep any of them. At a push, it would be Moore based on potential, but his price is silly money and not at all worth it to us in the grand scheme of things imo. He's had a few good games, but has gone missing as well (I know he's young).

Olsen, I've still seen absolutely nothing, so I suggest an 8mil fee, other than he did a nice wee fancy pass that people were creaming themselves over.

Generally speaking, I only like a loan with option to buy anyway, and hope this is the case going forward.

24 Feb 2026 14:34:38
We will have won a watch if we can get Moore on loan for another season. A few dominoes would have to fall in place for that to happen though, so doubtful, and even then it might be the last kick of the window.

24 Feb 2026 14:45:05
Moore won't be given the chance to play up here another season, especially if we don't make the CL.

24 Feb 2026 14:48:27
Walter, I'm watching him, same as everyone else. He is poor most games.

imo, Curtis offers more.

24 Feb 2026 14:50:50
Don't want another year tbh. Agree with GMW.

24 Feb 2026 15:09:09
I'd bring back Cameron and Curtis first.

Moore would be a good bit of business, but I wouldn't be annoyed if we didn't keep him.

Meghoma is a decent player, but there are better LBs for cheaper, I'd have Robbie Fraser as backup now tbh, especially now Rommens is here.

Olsen has not shown anything really. Another year on loan would be good.

The rest can go back.

24 Feb 2026 15:30:45
???? Mmm!

24 Feb 2026 15:34:37
If it's another loan, then Moore would be worth it. I agree, I wish Curtis was getting more of a chance next year.

24 Feb 2026 16:22:02
Most of these players are lucky Celtic are having an off season. If Celtic got their usual 85 to 90 points this season, most of these players would be seen as surplus to requirements. The fact we ain't at least 10 points ahead of this terrible Celtic team tells its own story. Most of these players need to be replaced for progress.

24 Feb 2026 17:41:12
Yes, it tells the story that there are a number of other teams all playing well and capable of taking points off the Old Firm. That is good for Scottish football, if not for Rangers.

Oh, and Celtic aren't having their normal season.

Is that because their players are poor? Both teams are trying to go through a transition. I know we are.
Oh, and say hi to Marko84 when you meet him. ?

24 Feb 2026 18:18:47
Tippled have we, Angus, also possibly in BlueDna also. ??

24 Feb 2026 18:26:40
Moore isn't ever going to be ours, so I wouldn't keep him for another season. John is right, he has had more bad games than good, so I don't know what you are watching, Coops.

Olsen could come good, and hopefully he does, starting next game, but if we had to make a decision right now, it would be a no.

24 Feb 2026 18:56:43
Fork, Marco84 disappeared and then this poster starts pretty much straight after. If new posters have a smart name choice, or the choice is too staunch, then it tends to be the 'dark one'. I take it that is what you meant. If not, then no, I haven't been drinking (yet).

24 Feb 2026 19:07:41
Lol, I leave you to your own confusion then. ???

24 Feb 2026 19:08:23
You'll get it once u see it. ?

24 Feb 2026 19:22:43
I certainly wouldn't give Spurs £16million for Moore. In the EPL, that is not much, but for us it's huge money, and we could get a more experienced player, or even players, for that sort of money. Loanees of the past, like Cerny, Sima and Tillman, had a far greater impact and could have been bought for a lot less than that.
