Just looking for opinions here. If we lose to Hearts on Sunday, do posters on here think we are no longer in a title race/able to win the league?

No, we wouldn't be out of it, but it would make things much more difficult, i.e. win every game from then on.
There will be further twists and turns, hopefully in our favour.

imo Sunday is a "must win" game if we are to win this league, OrangeT. A draw wouldn't put us out of the race, but it would make it difficult to catch Hearts.

We would definitely not be out of it, but 8 points behind with 11 games to go would be difficult to claw back. We really would need to win 10 out of our remaining games after that, which include beating Hearts after the split and beating them twice, and we might get away with a draw in one game.
And, of course, we'd need to rely upon others dropping points. A win on Saturday keeps it in our hands.

Yeah, it will be a bye. Need to win for points and confidence for the team and support. Think we will win and win well if the right players start. After every game day, I can see changes to the table, so we can't give ourselves too much to climb.

To be fair, as well as winning a few, we had to 'rely on others' to get us into the position we are.
All 3 (4 if you count 'Well') will drop points in the run-in. Hopefully, we are still in the race come the split.

Let's be honest. We can all sit here and say we're Rangers, fight till the day is done, etc.
But, hand on heart, anything other than 3 points, the league is going across the city, unfortunately.
O'Neill hardly lost points as manager, so he's not giving us anything cheap. We need to win it ourselves, and not taking maximum points against our main rivals wins us hee haw.

If we lose on Sunday, then it is highly unlikely we win the title, as it would require our 2 main rivals to drop a good few points, and, when they play each other, we would require draws each time they meet, and I don't see that happening.

Motherwell is arguably the hardest away game for all teams this season. A point wasn't ideal, especially given the sending off, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not a bad result. Never did I think we'd be in this position in September. It's not over until it's mathematically impossible.

If we get beat on Sunday, the league is gone. That's not being defeatist, Coops, that's being realistic. It's a must win game because our manager made an arse of it the other night. He hasn't got much wrong, but he got that massively wrong. If the players we bring in can't play every couple of days, then what is the point in bringing them in when we are in a title challenge?
I think we will win on Sunday, but I have a nagging doubt in my mind.
This reminds me of when PC kept us in a title race, and we bottled it.

If we draw, it will be far harder. Five points, with 33 remaining, could be achieved, but eight points is near impossible.
