The striker situation is perplexing. Igamane is surely on the way out, so why would. We sell Dessers? Danilo has been poor so again why sell Dessers? I don't want Igamane to leave, but if he and Danilo were to be sold, then we could get in one really good replacement to compete with Dessers (and possibly Moore) for a place in the team.

It's about demand.
There is a demand for Dessers, and given his age it's an opportunity to bring in some cash and further reduce the wage bill.
Igamane, is also in demand at a value that makes it hard to say no.
Danilo, currently no demand for his services.

I know we differ EHL regarding big dessers future before the end of this transfer window, but i honestly don't think big CD9 will be leaving Rangers and i realise you think he will be away before this window shuts on the 1st of September, so time will tell my friend ?.

I get the age thing with Dessers, but we'd need to be pretty lucky to save money and still get the same goal return with a new signing. I certainly wouldn't be selling Dessers until we play our next 3 European games
We do need a player that can get in front of a defender and really attack the six yard box, as that's where the ball from the wings is going.

Danilo should be loaned back to Holland in the hope we get sumfin for him next season, any other season I'd agree sell dessers cause the money won't be as big next year etc but this season he looks too good to sell for us.

It is also about the other side of the demand equation though and that is supply. If we think he brings more to the team by being here than selling him then the price needs to be much higher than potentially being offered.
he has 2 years left of his contract so we take his goals for a year with his improved other areas as we now give him support. then at the start of his final year he will be even further coveted and we can make what is being offered here and now.
sell Igamane now and buy someone who then has a year to grow into the role supporting Dessers; or if he is that good taking over from Dessers.

In an ideal world we would keep Igamane and Dessers and sell Danilo to bring in a replacement but as others have said you can't sell unless somebody wants to buy. The first two scored a few goals last season so there is interest, Danilo has done nothing in his two years at Rangers so why would anybody else want him.

Think danilo looked better playing behind the striker or on the left of the 3 but he's not recouping anywhere near te 6 we paid for him.
